There's this old tale called "Vikramadityan veera kadhaigal". It's about a king who's trying to bring back a wandering soul(vedhalam) hanging in a (horseradish tree or drumstick tree). That soul was actually cursed for eavesdropping a God (while that God's spending time with his wife. He was telling stories to his wife. Like 25 stories. Each story was like a riddle.) but vedalam got caught at the last story before he knows the answer.. So each time the king brings back that soul on his shoulder. It tells one story to that king (With a condition like: if u guess the answer correctly you will live but If your answer is wrong your head will explode). After every correct answer that soul flies back to that exact same tree. Like this each and every story goes on as the king tries to bring back the soul. But at the end of last story there won't be any condition for right or wrong answers. But the king guessed the correct answer. And that's when the soul gets released from it's curse and leave the place. Thanking the king. I googled it. It says 25 story. But I remember reading more than that though.... But that's the concept. Like you can't catch "vedhalam" but just listen to it's story. Every time you figure out what's that about. It'll slip away from you. .. (BOO u r dead)

They have compared it to making a different interpretation of the same play with different actors and set up. Go watch their interviews and you'll get to know that they have kept the integrity of the original and made a different interpretation of it.
