    Fresh Green Bean Recipe - Southern Style
    Dive into the heart of Southern cuisine with this simple yet delectable Green Bean recipe. Ideal for using those fresh green beans from your harvest, this dish is a must-try for both beginners and seasoned cooks.
    Ingredients:
    ● 2 lbs. (approximately) of fresh green beans
    ● 1 medium onion chopped
    ● 1 clove of garlic - and don't hesitate to add more if you're a garlic enthusiast!
    ● 4 strips of bacon - chopped or crumbled
    ● Water - enough to cover in the pot
    ● Salt and pepper to taste

      @@ntxg Just trying to get this 2 year old garden to grow - the plants are great but just are not producing as I think they should even with fertilization etc. Could be these 90 degree days! Might try something different this fall's planting. Take care with all that bad weather that keeps coming in.

      OHHHH 90 degree's already gal? We touch on them and then get a cool front and rain. It was 58 degrees one morning last week and 64 this week. Lets stay in touch about the fall garden! I need some tips lady. Hugs!

    Wow, that looks so good! My rattlesnake beans are just now producing, but not enough at once right now :-( going to try this when I have a bigger batch.

      Hidy Chari. It got a bit rough but praise the Lord no hail!! High winds and lots of rain. Needed the rain, garden was getting a bit crunchy! How is your harvest this year? Better than Last?

      I know gal!!! Your channel is growing by leaps and bounds! So thankful for you. Greg said in the beginning you will do great and you sure do. Any bad weather up your way? We miss it last night but NE of here got it pretty bad. I think you may have kin down that way. I pray they are okay.

    Mama/Jill, how about water did you add? I don’t want to make too much left overs so is cutting all ingredients in half?
    I’d love to see a video on some winter chili 🌶 for beginner cooking

      Hi Marsha we had enough to cover the beans so that it doesn’t run dry while cooking. It depends on how many beans you’re trying to cook gal. But cover em So that you have some good seasoned beans that are not too watery. You be safe Gal thank you again for watching jail

      We did get the very high winds and about 1.5" of rain. No Hail praise the Lord! I have some video that I will ask my hubby to post about the winds and clouds. Simply amazing! Are you all safe?

    I always add a few cubed potatoes 20 min before the beans r done with a side of cornbread this is a meal!!

    why does every southern vegetable have meat in it ... which is processed and technically not clean especially pork
