Great video Thankyou for the help, only thing I would add is make sure to clean off metal fragments from magnets on hydraulic filter shaft inside filter and also drain plug.

Yes, same fluid for transmission and hydraulics. I used the type of Harvest King Trans-Hydraulic Oil rated for Kubota (among other brands of tractors). It’s worked great since the changing it.
Timestamp 7:38 if you want to see the bucket of the stuff I used. My model takes about ~11 gallons of the stuff. Expensive, but cheaper than a new tranny.

I know nothing about that tractor you have but I learned something while I did some food prep.
Multitasking for the win! 😀👍🏻
Very thorough as always I’m the same way with all things keep them clean and maintained and they will last longer ❤✌🏼
Really great video, what mile intervals are you typically doing that full service? How frequently are you changing the lubricant in the front axels?
I do the full maintenance every 400 hours, per the manual. I’ll have to check the manual again on the front axle oil.
Front axle oil replace seems to be 400 run hour mark. Same for transmission fluid.

Thank you for watching!
How many quarts did the transmission/hydraulic system take? Thank you.
It took approximately 11.3 gallons, or 45.2 quarts.
do the transmission and tractor hydraulic systems share the same fluid? if yes, what fluid does it use? thank you

Much better than the manual by itself!
Glad you found it helpful!
That "gasket" is a duck bill valve.
Thanks! That makes sense. Looks like a duck bill. 😃
