Can I ask the general area your at? I agree with you on pricing. However I have been shopping for the right Frenchie for years and I noticed especially since Covid. I live in Southern California basically LA to SD to San Bernardino. I do see there are allot of people breeding cause they are trying to make a living and not breeding cause they love the breed and they are trying to charge the exotic price for a standard pet Frenchie. I am shopping for one still I hopefully will find one on the two viewings this week and looking for a Frenchie for show and to keep the breed going. Obsessed with the brown's and I get they are super expensive but some I think are scamming to pay for a new car or something else not to keep or love of the breed. Thank you for sharing!
Pricing is not based solely on coat color. It is based on structure and pedigree of the dogs. Pricing is rising on these dogs due to the demand of the breed as well as the time and money it cost to breed the dogs.
It’s very expensive to breed frenchies. Can cost upwards of $4k just getting them pregnant & delivering. Their litters are also much smaller than other breeds. That’s why they cost so much
I almost never see standards anymore. I miss them. Average pet price for a decently bred dog with testing is 5k where I live. True platinum from a local good breeder is 8-9k. A fluffy carrier is going to be 18k or above.
That’s insanity. These dogs are bred to suffer - as a fashion accessory and status symbol. I have a Frenchie and think breeding these brachycephalic dogs should be criminal.
I’ve had them for 20 years. I currently have 5 and I think all the weird colors and mini breeders are ruining the breed. And I wish people wouldn’t buy them at 5-20k. Send a message to the g(B)reeders. They generally are unhealthy. Breeding for colors and size is rarely about health. I’ve had people try to tell me skin conditions and allergies are ‘normal’ in French Bulldogs. No. They should be 100% healthy. Period. I’ve had 2 litters. Zero health issues. It breaks my heart what has happened to the breed.
Dude I just got 1 she's the best 1 eye color is brown the other eye 50% brown 50% blue I'm happy is day 3 and the last 2 days she pees on the pad. She was born In October
The akc will allow you to register your colored dog but it is not allowed to be entered into the show ring. To register a colored frenchie you must take two pictures of your dog (Front view and side view) and mail in your registration forms w/ photos and the akc office will review your registration. They will determine if your pet fits the description of the breed’s physical attributes and they will choose the color for you.
@@TheFrenchBullvlog They definitely are. I had a Frenchie as a kid, her name was Bailey. She still is my best friend for ever. I miss her so much but looking at other Frenchies makes me so happy.
The breeders really make these poor dogs suffer with way they look. We have a rescue one and without our knowledge and money getting him properly sorted he would have been in a terrible state.
The information you are giving is not accurate I don’t have time to go into correcting your mistakes but I do suggest you take down this video . The pricing is Way off and you could be setting people up for disappointment on both ends buyer and seller . You are just better off talking about how much you paid for your dog and Why.
Grow up and stop being so miserable, she never claimed to be an expert, and she clearly gave a rough price guide. If you’re so knowledgeable, make your own video.
@@TheFrenchBullvlog my comment has nothing to do with “hate” and everything to do with not disappointing buyers and sellers. The suggestion of you talking about how much you paid for your dog on a video is because I would assume that would be something you can’t get wrong and it won’t effect anyone. I’m sure you see how many people have left messages telling you the information in this video is wrong and you don’t care enough to change it . I wonder if that’s considered “hate” .
I see the exotic colors no longer moving for prices they were once selling for. I bought a Lilac tri AtAtBBddcoco no pied, no brindle with Dezinerbullz pedigree for $4k. The breeder did not market the DNA or the pedigree so that could be part of the problem. But I wonder what’s going on, but I think supply here in California is outpacing demand.
Plus your dog isn’t a quad it doesn’t carry cream so that’s about the average price for a tri I have an cocoa and tan no brindle no pie of course it has AtAtcocoDdEme I paid almost 9k also structure is important short legs big head muscle tone just plan your breeding accordingly and you could still sell the puppies 10k++
@@dayxday803 I didn’t want cream a dog that carries cream, I don’t understand why anyone would want that. Blues, lilac, chocolates, fluffys, Merle, Isabellas and what people want. $4k isn’t the average price for a lilac tri from a Desizerbullz pedigree, that’s the most famous pedigree for exotic color French Bulldogs in the world. Stop hating.
I love how this video just popped up after watching one about how they can't breathe and have a high mortality rate. Don't give money to greedy breeders.
I have a tri pied frenchie. He is 3 years old and he has had 0 health issues outside of the typical problems with his ears getting dirty and bothering him easily. He also doesn't have any issues with his digestive system. He breaths very well and is pretty active for a frenchie. He is also pretty buff for a frenchie. I think that is because he comes everywhere with me including work. He is only on a leash when. We go In stores or if we're close to hazards. (Traffic, wild life, etc.) He stays right by my side and listens very well.
We have a pure white frenchie, we got it as a wedding gift from our bestman. He has dark eyes, kinda dark nose but light paw pads. So I’m confused if he’s platinum or cream?
And the reason why that I found that that's merles as you guys are calling there's a calling them can have health issues when their bread together is because there is some correlation with the lack of pigmentation in the skin if there are 2 white with blue eyes I don't think anybody really knows the reasoning but that does usually happen it is quite common with great Danes and dalmatians and dalmatians if they don't have enough pigmentation on the actual skin they will be deaf

I have a blue merl he’s amazing and he carries the L4 (fluffy gene). I love him he’s the best dog I ever had.
Dude I just got 1 she's the best 1 eye color is brown the other eye 50% brown 50% blue I'm happy is day 3 and the last 2 days she pees on the pad. She was born In October
Fluffies go for more than 5 to 8 k but Great video thanks for the input
Just got my blue boy today. He was 9k. Pure breed
Wow! Hope you love him!
You paid 9k for a dog?
Yeah that's about right,9k. I got two girls . Brindle (leena) and a (Lola blue) 7k and 9k both with no health issues. I'm happy too, cheers
Next week I'll have the pied Frenchie....I'm looking forward.....
That's so exciting :)
Great video!
If exotic colors aren’t recognized by the AKC. Will the AKC still give them papers? Thanks in advance.
Thank you!! No, they won’t. They cannot be registered therefore they won’t have AKC paperwork!
Yes you can have akc papers for exotic coats
@@havanahasher7364 yup, I did this with mine
I pressed subscribe even before I saw the video.
I love French bulldogs. 🥰
Thanks so much :) aren't they the greatest??
@@TheFrenchBullvlog They definitely are. I had a Frenchie as a kid, her name was Bailey. She still is my best friend for ever. I miss her so much but looking at other Frenchies makes me so happy.
Thank You soo much for sharing! Very informative
So happy to help!
Excellent video, I’ve got two French bulldogs a brindle female and a lilac merle male x
Thanks!
I’m getting a Merle puppy but his dad is fawn . So hopefully all will go well 💕
Great video!
Thank you :))
You ship to Jamaica?
I am not a breeder, personally.
I have a sable Merle fluffy frenchie I was told can I send u pics nd videos to see what you think it is ???
Brindle, fawn or pied are the only frenchies recognised by the kennel club.
Exactly!
NEW SUB! Thank you for this information! 😇😇
Thanks for subbing :) Glad it was helpful
New sub well explained
Thank you!!
The breeders really make these poor dogs suffer with way they look.
We have a rescue one and without our knowledge and money getting him properly sorted he would have been in a terrible state.
Sharp presentation with a unique perspective! I knew nothing about the breed until I watched your show! Just subscribed! Want to see more !!!🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you so much for watching and being part of the Frenchie Fam!! Happy you were able to learn more about this awesome breed :)
Wouldn't a NICE merle Frenchie be worth more than the others?
The information you are giving is not accurate I don’t have time to go into correcting your mistakes but I do suggest you take down this video . The pricing is Way off and you could be setting people up for disappointment on both ends buyer and seller . You are just better off talking about how much you paid for your dog and
Why.
Thanks for your feedback!
I was just about to say the same thing. She was waaay off on some things
Grow up and stop being so miserable, she never claimed to be an expert, and she clearly gave a rough price guide. If you’re so knowledgeable, make your own video.
@@georgew271 thank you for your support! I’m never going to be able to please everyone, so hate comments are never taken to heart.
I have 3! 1 black female, 1 brindled pied, 1 one black and white pied.
I have a lilac quad female - 5k she’s the best .. has some skin issues but she’s my baby !
Happy to hear you her :) I'm sure she is so pretty!
What about the tri color frenchies? With more of the Rottweiler color pattern
Atat gene the a-locus tri or tan points
merle is also a common coloration in Shetland sheepdog!
Love it! ❤️
Thank you :)
Best breed ever 😘
Couldn't agree more :)
first time french bulldog owner. went all in. got two(sisters)
That's so awesome! Are you loving them to death? :))
Thank you I did learn a few things
Great :)
I think it is a really good video, keep up with your work! I would recommend adding the colors name within the video not just the picture :)
I really appreciate the support! Yes, thank you for your feedback!!
Is blue sable a color name? If so should I be aware of any extra health issues with that color.
I have isabella and fluffies....they are moving for 25k + still fluffies begin at 35k
I have to agree Sonya
SoCal is flooded with bulldogs
A platinum is a lilac covered in cream. And you can register a blue. It is recognized by akc it is just not show quality
Thank you for the feedback!!
@@TheFrenchBullvlog no problem. 2 pieds are also not to breed. Severe health issues. I would stay away from anything over roughly 80% white
Hello I have a platinum Frenchie , what’s your opinion on them ? I paid 12k for her ??
@@cloutgodnightbot7948 12k is a more than fair price. Did you do a dna on her? If so share the results
GREAT VIDEO...SUBBED!
Thank you!
Great video, extremely helpful and entertaining as always 😀
So happy you enjoyed :) Thanks again for watching! I've got a fun video coming tomorrow...hint (Monte travel vlog :)
Always was curious what to call the colour of my frenchie Layla, brindle. Thanks :)
No worries :) glad you now know!!
We have a pure white frenchie, we got it as a wedding gift from our bestman. He has dark eyes, kinda dark nose but light paw pads. So I’m confused if he’s platinum or cream?
To be confident, if you truly want to know, you can ask the vet to get them DNA tested.
And the reason why that I found that that's merles as you guys are calling there's a calling them can have health issues when their bread together is because there is some correlation with the lack of pigmentation in the skin if there are 2 white with blue eyes I don't think anybody really knows the reasoning but that does usually happen it is quite common with great Danes and dalmatians and dalmatians if they don't have enough pigmentation on the actual skin they will be deaf
hi do you know any legit place or website to buy frenchies in uk?
Frenchie Gang
Frenchie Fam here with you :)
We got a Blue coming in about 8ish weeks !! Doesnt have blue eyes though, so not sure if he'd be considered blue?
That’s so exciting! Can still be considered blue, even without the blue eyes!
Blue frenchies don't have blue eyes. No frenchie does tbh. I would say some merles have close to blue eyes
@@richmanning6692 my Frenchie has a blue and a hazel eye
Absolutely fine….frenchie puppies eyes change most of the time anyway.
French bulldogs do look cute
They’re adorable 😍😍
I wonder if fluffy carriers were crossed with spaniels or papillons somewhere down the line?
I’m not entirely sure on this.
It was the papillon I honestly feel like that’s not a French bulldog but lot of people will argue it
Hi! Do you mind sharing his breeder? I am looking for a frenchie that is Monte's exact color and physical make-up and would love a place to start. Thanks!

Not bad! Especially if you don’t breed!! I could provide you with a couple colors you missed and a more accurate pricing tier for Isabellas and Fluffies if interested. Just shoot me a message if so
Are you a french bulldog breeder?
Isabella X brindles AKC/UKC
Keep doing it.. y good
Thank you, I will!
Getting a Lilac Frenchie in 2 weeks!! 🥲🥲
so exciting!!! I know you'll love it :)
My Wilbur blue is coming home in 6 days I’m so excited :)
Is eye color also a factor?
Where to buy one from
Hello there I’m a new Sub. I’m also a frenchie owner & I wanted to ask what are some best food you recommend I feed my 1 year old Frenchie???
Thanks for joining the Frenchie Fam! I would pick a high-quality food, with no fillers and make sure the food has DHA at least for the first year (most puppy foods already have this ingredient).
We use Stella & Chewy’s Raw Coated Kibble, salmon recipe and he seems to love it.
I have a Merle franchise. He's only 3 months and has a green eye and a baby blue eye
If anybody sees this, does anybody know what a black and white French bulldog is called?
The one you show for chocolate is a brindle
Yes, picture adjustment is needed there
