For example:
We have below setting in ASG
Min:1
Max:1
Desired: 1
We create ec2 instannce “server1”
Then made AMI of that server
Then we will add some data into that ec2 instance “server1”
Now we will shutdown this ec2 instance “server1”
New ec2 instance “server2” will launched automatically.
But do wo have latest data present in server2 which are there on server1 before its shutdown.?
If not then how can we achive this.?

we can do that old way just we have to copy ami id from the free tier option and just paste that in the launch configuration AMI option place
Sir..I have query here..how autoscaling group calculate that defined capacities Of instances?per AZ? In production, eg.we have 10 servers running and then for 10 servers we need to create 10 ASGs?
How we can confirm whether ASG properly creating or terminating instances or not?

How much time the autoscale group takes to create the initial instances? I did the same exercise in N Virginia for all five AZ with two designer instances and two minimum instances. I waited for more than 45 min, but the status of the autoscale group didn't change from "Updating capacity," and no instance was created. I deleted all the resources after waiting for more than 45 min.
Jinab , sometimes also use Linux instances, you always choose Windows boring instances. :-)

Awesome bhaiyaa.. lekin ek bat hai ki 50% load barne par ek instance launch ho raha hai.. lekin man lijiye normally bank me afternoon me load barta hai.. tab 1 instance launch ho jayega.. but evening me jab load kam ho jata hai tab kya instance auto shut ho jayega ? Old console me aisa option tha.. lekin new me sayed nehi hai... Is issue ka solution please bataye.. ...

If i am using ASG for my 1 ec2 at cpu utilization 70% if cpu utilization go down from 70% then will ASG delete extra created server itself or i jave manually delete extra created server ?
