  • In this episode, join us as we chat about how our views on plastic surgery evolved from our 40s to our 60s. We share our journey of becoming true to ourselves, disregarding others' opinions, and recognizing that we no longer seek approval for our choices. Now, we happily celebrate our authentic selves at every stage of life. It's not that we don't care about what others think; it's just that their opinions no longer sway our actions.

Thanks for discussing all these myriad of issues and life experiences women of our age have experienced. I was married at 17, and divorced at 27 with 3 children. I remarried 11 years later and gained a combined family, which presents a TON of issues and challenges within itself. I too had a hysterectomy, (but a partial one) at 43. And like Kim said, it was the best thing I could have done! Anyhow, unlike you two and apparently others, I absolutely loved my 50s. My hair was at its best, my fitness peaked, I finally had the guts to undergo a plastic surgery procedure that I'd wanted all my life - and I had finally come into my own. All that said, I turned 60 in June and am eager to to see what this new decade brings. :-) I really enjoy listening to this podcast, as you are both beautiful, intelligent and insightful women. Thanks again for this podcast!
