excellent work, it's great to have your information from the place of origin, like the senegalia polyacantha it also took me time to identify, its leaves and flowering definitely caught my attention, they are wonderful

Hi Gus, enjoy your videos, very informative. What specie of the Ironwoods do we find in Gonarezhou.
Currently reading "Valley of the Ironwoods" fascinating about the history of Gonarezhou.
    Thanks

We as Human Beings spend most of our existence roaming the African savannas. Sometimes I wonder, if I ever go to a savannah, if I will feel something different or special. Perhaps a harmonious connection between the body, mind, and the environment as a kind of "ancestral call". Did you feel something like this?

good day sir, i understand the thorns on the leaves protect it vs browsing but how do knobs on the bark add to that? the only thing going for bark would be ellies, or other game using bark as a rubbing post. let me know wow it helps against browsing :)

      Would you climb the tree
That's for protection from people like you

@@thechosenzgen well, do primates eat leaves of trees? And if they do they have tannins to defend themselves? So i dont see why the tree would have the need to defend itsself against us climbing in it.
