Here in Spain in the 90s and in the mid 2000s for obvious reasons you saw them on every corner along with the Ibiza, even today you see quite a few rolling through the streets, very proud to be Spanish seeing how reliable these cars were although the German mechanics
@@nikodaq Spanish people don't create anything. VW is building the car projects. 100% VW but the exterior and interior is kind of spanish. As well as czech Skoda.
This was my dad's car when I was a little kid, just a bit more orange-ish, but same engine and everything. The engine might not kick in hard, but nostalgia surely does.
My mom had a 1993 Cordoba, and i bought the exact same model with the video but in blue and without a sunroof as my first car, and all i can say is that i absolutely love it. Nice looks, roomy but compact at the same time, quite good handling and amazing reliability from my experience. My mom's one had 350000 km before she sent it to scrap (she'd keep it even more but we needed a bigger car so she got a Dacia Logan). The only downsides i can think off rn are the cheap quality of the interior plastics, the way the top brake light is mounted and i'd also like some more HP but i cant say im not satisfied either. For the money i bought it i couldnt have made a better purchase to be honest(less than 1000 euros with just 145000 kilometres on the clock)
my dad had a 96 when i was little it was prettier because it had a different front and rear bumper it was a phase 2 and the in the video it's a phase 3 but the 2 sentences are the more beautiful, but overall the first generation is the most beautiful in terms of design. A very underrated and indestructible car.
