Look at the videos by TwilightsCall, he beats B.Battler with about 10 different character combinations but ultimately does exactly the same thing with each one: walk backwards, wait until he jumps, then 2A or 2B and combo.
I like to think that I wasn't even using any weird AI exploits to beat him either - such as the 'walk backwards, wait until he jumps and punish him with a low attack' or the various exploits with Eva's Jelly and things like that.
Woah... its sure interesting combos! Howewer it will take me enternity to beat him... since I cant play in normal mode with my keyboard... But atleast Eva with her Jellys can somehow beat him with using same attack... (Lazy beating lol but it does not work all the time)
I only looked up how to beet B.Battler since a RUclipsr got to him and it didn’t seem like he was dealing damage, and with him doing a lot of damage, I figured he was just invincible. But those stats just make him way more complicated

The guard counter only works if Ronove blocks twice in quick succession.

Welcome to the Black Battler beaten club, chrisgrice.
You have to press 421A or B or C while blocking.
Basically, I just mash the Backwards and Down buttons while spamming the C button.

Oh he's absurdly hard. Permanent regen, all of his 1SP moves cost 0, permanent counter boost, his grab insta-stuns, permanent guard (even when running), guard break boost etc....
Yeah. I swear, if it wasn’t for the knock back cheese, he would literally be impossible

Turtling until he uses 3C then punishing him counts as an AI exploit, but you didn't use that. >.>;
