    • @MkenyaInDeutschland
      @MkenyaInDeutschland  20 дней назад +1

      Hi
      Your dad can help in the process of opening a blocked account, like filling out the forms and transferring the money, but everything has to be under your name because you’re the student.
      This is because all the documentation that will be required for your student Visa, including the blocked account documents will need to all be under the same name.
      So the name on your passport should match the name on your academic certificates and should match the name on your blocked account documents.

      When you open the blocked account, you will be able to see the balance in that blocked account after you login to your portal. So anyone who has your login credentials can view their money on the portal
      Once the blocked account is opened and the money is deposited the only way to have access to that money is when you come to Germany and open a current account in a German bank, then link your new bank account to your blocked account and then you will start receiving equal monthly payments to your new account

    • @MkenyaInDeutschland
      @MkenyaInDeutschland  9 дней назад +2

      Hi
      For the first year you’ll be expected to open a new blocked account with the €11k but for the second year as long as you have a part-time job in most cities you don’t need to open another blocked account. You just need to have a minimum balance of €5000 in your bank account when you’re going to extend your permit
      But be aware that different cities or towns have different policies. Some of my friends who study in rural areas are usually asked for a second blocked account but most students in major cities are just asked for their €5000 balance

    hi, i love how clear your content and information is. could you clarify if someone is allowed to work 20 hours a week on language visa? im getting conflicting information with the latest one saying some laws were changed and it is now allowed.

    • @MkenyaInDeutschland
      @MkenyaInDeutschland  8 месяцев назад

      Hi
      Thanks for the positive feedback
      Yeah, they did change the law recently and you can work for 20 hours while on a language visa
      But it’s also important to note what the rules of the state you are living in say. Different states may interpret the law differently, so before someone begins to work, it’s good to get advice from the local authorities.
