I always plan to do an easy, lighter eyeshadow look and I end up using 9 different mattes 2 or more shimmers and going incredibly dark to very vibrant shades lololol. I cannot do a simple, classy neutral look for some reason.

@@anh7807 Once ordered a 42$ USD palette, i' in Canada so had to almost double that rate for Can$ , then i had 32$ shipping AND border fees were 65$!! So one 42$USD palette cost me about 165$Can
Would love some comparison swatches against last year's palette because I didn't realise the inside was the new palette until you said so! I'm sure it's because the layout has similar lights and darks in similar spots but because it's a jumbled colour story, that's all my eyes notice.

I have to say, I am obsessed with this hair!!! I've been wanting to go red for the longest time and seeing you rock this redish orange colour is such an inspiration. This very light highlight with the fiery red looks like a disney villain hair in the best possible way!
Red is so fun but be careful not all reds fade mine has stayed incredibly vibrant with really no fade out at all , some do yes but not all I’ve found it depends on the quality of the dye used and the health of the hair . It is extremely hard to charge your colour though red pigment in dye hangs on for dear life it’s incredibly hard to cover , so if you’re not completely sure don’t do it because it’s so freaking hard to get out if you don’t end up loving it.
@@melaniegorniak3803 Agreed! I haven’t done any touch ups to my hair in a year, year and a half, and the red tones in my hair are still pretty prominent especially in the sunlight. It doesn’t look red, but the warmth has stayed for sure.
I believe the “highlights” are just Angie’s natural greys 😊

This is such a beautiful, soft colour story with some really interesting individual shades. My favourite is the second look and even though I'm on a no buy rn, I will definitely get this later this year. So happy the owner posted about this being a permanent palette and saying no one should have FOMO. Just made the decision to get it later on so much easier 💜😊

If there were more mauves I might have been tempted to get it, but I find some of the mattes are a little too similar to the ones in Serenity. Your looks were beautiful.

I've come back to this video a few times every few months, bc I'm on the fence on this palette but want to get it officially now. The cool and warm tone look you made with green, is my favorite look I've seen you do. It was beautiful, even the contrast of the cool green, complimented your top as a whole look. If Is saw that whole look in person, I'd die. Love it.

That shade ‘Softly’ is what I imagine Jo Malone Sea salt & wood sage would look like as eyeshadow. 😍 I love how versatile this palette is. It’s still muave but it goes in so many directions and it just makes sense. When brand puts a lot of thought into the palette this is the result. Love your new hair and I’m going to show it to my mom 😅 she might get inspired to switch her hairstyle a little bit. I urged her to get highlights few times but she believes she is too old for that (maybe 5 years older than you) and hopefully she will be convinced. The dress is iconic. I swore I’ll never buy this type of dress but it’s strating to grow on me a little bit thanks to the the cut and colour - it’s just chef’s kiss. See ya bye bye xx

My palettes just came like Saturday but I wasn't home so I just played with Muse and did a very soft simple look mainly because I was really tired but tomorrow I'm so excited for play with the palette more and that includes the serenity palette! I was expecting the palette to have more midtone rose shades in it to match the packaging! I think for now I'll just play with Hela and enjoy my pinks and greens that way. I'd enjoy seeing more looks though!

I totally agree on Angie's teaching skills. I've learned so much about blending that I'm feeling more comfortable these days approaching bolder colors (coming from one who has solidly in the neutral camp comfort zone for the majority of my makeup wearing life). I'd love to see more looks with this palette--even if presented in short-form. That's a short I'd actually watch. **I'm an Old and short-form content generally melts my brain and crushes my soul.** ❤️❤️❤️
