When the chickens are let out, that's when the real work begins. It involves fixing and repairing broken slats, regrading the dirt, and moving a lot of material-tasks that require both large and small farm equipment to get done.

Most of the chicken manure gets spread in the cow field. I've brought some home in the past for my mom's garden as well.
