What are you investing in? All I see is red just about every single day so far in 2024
This is why it is important to have a well diversified portfolio. Roughly half my portfolio is invested into technology/consumer discretionary/communication stocks and the other half is invested in healthcare/defensives/financials. I also own individual stocks that I collect dividends and sell covered calls on, this ‘balances’ my portfolio and makes it ‘all-weather proof’.

Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $260K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
The market is volatile at this time, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.

This recommendation literally came at the right time, I’m down by $7k in stocks this week alone.. its crazy! I just looked up Melissa online and researched her accreditation. She seem very proficient, I wrote her detailing my Fin-market goals and scheduled a call.
I'm thinking of putting some cash in stocks, I was at Salt Shack and I overheard some friends saying it's ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?
Look for stocks that have paid steady, increasing dividends for years (or decades), and have not cut their dividends even during recessions. Alternatively speaking to a certified market strategist can help with pointers on equities to acquire.
@@JanetNellis True. Having the right financial planner is invaluable. My portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit a 90% rise from early last year. My CFP and I are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, though this could take till Q3 2024.

This seems like the worst period.
Even the market are now very unpredictable. Started investing recently when the market prices were a bit high,today I am more than 60% down!
Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to Alexandra marie

I’m thinking it could still go down in the near future or over the next couple of years. I might invest at some point again but at this point I’m more comfortable with PLTR. Otherwise I invest primarily in indexes. It takes so much time to research and keep on top of your investments when you invest in Individual stocks.
