College Bowl" (1959-70). Richardson had been an announcer on "Price" when Doug Davidson was the host of the 1994 version (which was known as "The New Price is Right"). A bit of trivia: as the pricing game of "Check-out" is played, the calculator is not being used; it malfunctioned during game play and was dropped.

Burton Richardson should've been named as Rod Roddy's Permanent successor since he filled in for a lot of shows during Rod's absences! He was a way better choice to succeed Rod Roddy than Rich Fields
I hope these newer episodes eventually find their way to TPIR, the Barker Era channel. They keep repeating Seasons 11-13. Also, can't they show any episodes prior to Season 11. I know some of these offered furs as prizes, but couldn't they show the ones not offering them? I know there had to be some of those. Or somehow edit the ones that did?

Whatever happened to Burton Richardson I kind of missed that guy anyway it's been 20 years now since I've seen him on television you know doing the Price is Right because I can tell you this much right now I think after rod Roddy died that was the end of it but I think Burton Richardson should have gotten the job instead of Rich fields and then Burton Richardson should have been replaced with who they have now that came into existence in 2011 George Ray right after Bob was replaced with Drew carey. But as for Burton Richardson I kind of like to know where he went?

It was Rich Fields who was fired, not too long after Drew Carey became host.
Rich fields was fired in 2010 after 7 seasons as announcer
He now works on Family Feud.
