Tesla has reduced head count 9 percent in 2018, 7 percent in 2019, and 10 percent of salaried workers in 2022. 10 percent is not a big deal given how proactive and innovative the company is. Funny how the media and "analysts" asked for clarity but the message and timeline continues to be clear.

Before it was 10% of salaried workers. That was only 2.5% of all employees. This time it is a real 10% of all employees.

I bought a New 2023 Model Y AWD long range with 20” induction wheels, with a tow hitch, in January for $44,090. The value has increased to $52,990 for the same exact model. I just checked inventory prices. Musk said he would increase prices today, and they are higher substantially. My car is $8900 more. The vehicles have been going up steadily since the beginning of the year. So that guy’s statement that Tesla’s are getting cheaper is a lie, they are getting allot more expensive.

Tesla Robo Taxi will be regulated by States and will be limited to how many will be allowed. I pretty sure they will need to be monitor live 24/7 in case something goes wrong with the car or in case of a emergency and if someone disable and sole the car. The State will require high liability Insurance in case the car gets into an accident and passenger get hurt or killed so it most likely be really expensive to own a Robo Taxi business. State will control what area and routes a Robo Taxi will be able to go with in the State and will be only register to that State. That is why Tesla is just another car company as all their revenues come from the sale of cars. So, it will be a big mistake not to make the $25,000 car first priority before the Robo Taxi,

without a low cost dry produciton 4680, tesla is dead money. if they can t get the battery, they cant produce semi, cybertruck M2 and other in volume. Tesla is now like Coleco computers or blackberry phones. It was a great start for ev industry. now get it off the table.

    • @taefravis
      @taefravis Месяц назад

A few facts for you to chew over...
      1) Tesla is an agile company that does NOT rely on a single type of battery, they offer a few different battery types all for different purposes such as 4680, 2170, 18650 and LFP etc. This means that if Tesla struggle to get the yield rates of a battery type high enough then they can easily switch over to another.
      2) Tesla are overcoming the issues they had with the 4680 if you bothered to stop emoting and do some research listening to what lead engineer Lars Moravy has said on the situation.
      3) Tesla are STILL set to bring out the next gen Tesla that will be half cost to make so will be truly affordable!
      4) Tesla are the ONLYT car maker out of the legacy auto an most Chinese that are actually making profits and LOTS of it. Tesla have NO long term debt and are increasing their cash pile at the same time as growing as fast as they can so more like Apple during the early days of the iPhone etc.
      5) Tesla make more changes and improvements to their products in a single day than any other car masker does in a single year!
Tesla unarguable make the best EVs...PERIOD! Who else is making EVs at scale, with profits, that are THAT good?
VW ? Their software is buggy, crappy and dangerous!
Toyota ? Their EV had to be recalled due to lousy range that was HALF what they thought it was and is bland as hell!
Mercedes? Their EVs are limited in numbers, too expensive and look outdated compared to Tesla!
Honda? They have 1 EV that is lucky to get 120 miles of range real world and is a city car nothing else!
Ford? They have a couple good EVs compared to the rest but not is inferior to Tesla, even former senior Ford engineer Sandy Munro agrees!
I could go on but you get the point. Legacy auto are more like Blockbuster Video - dod not even seriously attempt to transition over and er we all know what happened to them lol
I am sorry your feelings are hurt by Tesla but they are going nowhere anytime soon.

India will be a disaster for Tesla. Other than the highways there is no concept of driving in a lane. Driving in an urban India is utter chaos. Bikes, cyclists swarming with very little driving discipline. Tesla autopilot will go nuts. Nothing good will come out of it. At least in the short term. Only the Uber rich will be able to afford it. It will be more Tesla Roadster kind of sales level at the max.
