He wouldn’t have traveled and cheered on the sideline if he wasn’t intending on coming back when he recovers to 100%. I think he loves the game, his teammates, and the challenge of competing for a NCAA title too much to sit out the postseason.
I saw the difference in having Tre and Cam’s perimeter defense for the rematch. Their guards were continually pressured and forced into a lot of difficult, contested shots. It was tough not having Zion’s rebounding though. Cuse scored on so many offensive rebounds. UNC and Cuse showed how easy it is to score on Duke in the paint without Zion. He looks like he wants to play badly. Nice to see an efficient all around game from RJ. He scored at the rim, midrange, and behind the arc. I like that he’s distributing more than he used to. He’s had way more assists these past three weeks. Season high from O’Connell. Duke desperately needs more scoring like that from their bench. Duke is now 7-0 in true road games, 21-1 with all five starters playing, and now 3-2 without all five starters.
Zion getting hurt is the best thing that could’ve happened to Barrett. Pray Zion heals up but now R.J can show he can lead a team to victory solo on a big stage

That’s the thing though. Cam Reddish was the 3rd best player coming out of high school. He should NOT be a role player. He is expected to be a star player and continues to prove that his ranking was a lil too high. I hope he picks it up though because I love how he plays, and his potential is through the roof. Cam and Tre missed the first game with Syracuse and their guards had a field day leading their team to 95 points. You see how much better Duke was defensively this game. But I do agree, RJ was getting too much criticism. The coaches have done a great job working with him on his shot selection and improving his distribution. Man, Tre really needs to get out of this shooting funk. I know he’s a better shooter than what he’s been doing.
Javin plays like he has no fingers he get never catch the ball like ever! I was surprised he caught that one alley as soon as he went to the bench we went on a run. Yea he has some good defensive plays every now and than but he is more of a liability than an asset

I mean we only have 2 players that can consistently play off the bench, a point guard who can’t manage the game, a center who’s extremely tall but has no dynamic talent under the rim, and then Battle, Hughes, and Brissett who are probably our most consistently good, but still probably aren’t NBA caliber. I’ve been following Cuse basketball for 3 years ever since I accepted, and the things I’ve seen Jim do with the limited talent at his disposal is astounding. He’ll forever be one of the greats.
