My laptop keyboard stopped working. The boxes shown in the video were NOT ticked. I ticked them, then unticked them, then clicked apply, then Ok and the keyboard now works again. You are a life saver!

you can use another keyboard to log in.................
if your mouse works you can click on the icon in the lower corner..
this allows you to get an on-screen virtual keyboard..
which I used to login and this video actually worked.. yay.

HERES WHAT FINALLY WORKED FOR ME AFTER TRYING EVERYTHING I COULD FIND ONLINE...
>>> 1. You need to shut down your laptop.
2. Unplug the power cord and take out the battery.
3. Then hold down the Power on button for approx 30 secs. 4. Once done replace the battery and power cord and start up as normal.
>>>The problem should now be solved. It handled it for me!!!

Unfortunately this video did not solve my keyboard problem. Dell laptop keyboard input is messed up and it doesn't matter if I use the local keyboard or remote desktop. For example pressing enter in command prompt opens a window to edit power plan settings. Each press opens a new plan edit window!
Mouse left click also sometimes causes the active window to lose focus. Alt-tabbing is the only way to get back to the program.
I have installed dozens of Windows systems and have never encountered such weird behavior. I have tried fresh installs of Windows 7 x86 and x64 versions on this laptop and they both exhibit this feature. Any ideas?

On sign on screen on left side corner at bottom there is a blue button, click on it and check the box of on screen keyboard from there enter the password

Thanks man, most places I checked said it wouldn't work anymore. When I accidentally fell asleep on the keyboard on top of the delete, insert, home, end, etc. keys and it stopped working I thought I had pressed something I didn't remember that made the keys not work and I would still hear some sort of beep everytime I pressed on a key so I knew it wasn't broken. I checked 10 other sites before coming to you for the first time and you completely solved the problem. Thank you. I know this must be a very simple one but how did you learn all this?

Make sure, Whether your keyboard is ok. If okay, then you can update keyboard driver from the the settings.
There are several reason for this problem. So, No one definite solution can be said.
I will press S key on laptop ,its open searching tab or file , press N open navigator tab , this is a lot of problem to typing in laptop How to avoid these conflicts ,please explain🙏🙏
