  • Microphone switch box that I made out of scrap pieces I had laying around the house. This way I can leave the one microphone hooked up and don't have to remove the cord from the radio to test a mic.
    I can leave when Mike hooked up hooked up my microphone testing cable and wire up a new Mike. This box saves wear and tear on the connector on the radio.
    I understand it's a little rough looking but this is just a prototype. However it does work

    What kind of wire do u use for cb microphone wire

    • @Radionut
      @Radionut  6 лет назад

      TK I try to use solid core but sometimes good multi strand works also. You can make your own microphone cords from old six wire telephone cable.
      Thanks for watching

      Radionut R do i need a shield wire?

    • @Radionut
      @Radionut  6 лет назад

      TK If your microphone is for wired just pick one of the wires in the cord you’re going to use and say OK that’s the shield wire. Yother one would be whatever colors they are.

      +Jesse Goode well unfortunately I don't know where you're located my friend. If you have a local CB shop or you might have to order them online. You need a small plastic or metal box about 6 x 3 x 2 and the connectors to match up to your radio I will throw in the connector cable from my collection

      do you think I could use a splitter to splitter a rj45 type Mic plug so that I could have an option to use either the regular Mic or a push to talk Bluetooth headset.
