It depends on your personal vibe. My vibe is Hermes all the way. Two years ago I bought a So Kelly pre loved. Very useful for easy going days and outfits. I am very happy with it
IMO, get the chanel kelly jumbo and then a little hermes treat after. I love my pink chanel kelly jumbo so much! I’m biased because I love loud luxury, but the shape of it and size of the logo compared to the rest of the bag makes it uniquely classy while keeping it fun. 👜

That being said, if you have an Hermes in mind that is calling out to your heart, or your heart to it, then you should stick with Hermes. Once going from Chanel to Hermes, I never looked back. Do I still love some Chanel, of course. But for me, Hermes arrives from in entirely different dimension, & beyond exceptional for many reasons. Hermes colors are to die for & to be able to send any Hermes bag to the spa, greatly increases the value for me. We are all looking forward to see your next treasure!!

The Medallion is a workhorse for me. It is caviar leather and I don't worry if we have a little sprinkle in the weather. I also love the OhSo Kelly. It is a bucket that holds everything. Love-love it. Take your time and choose what works for you.

I think the Coco handle would work well for you. One of the main reasons for saying this is that the handle is on the large size and would suit you better. I think the chain/leather strap has been removable since 2020 . The earlier ones had a fixed chain/leather strap. It was launched in 2015. One thing to be aware of is some of them have the notorious wonky flap, so please check carefully if you buy one. There's also the Chanel Trendy, might be worth a squiz. I've been thinking about the Chanel Kelly and I just think it would be too similar to your Hermès Kelly. Sorry, novel length reply 🤐🤣

Lol I’m 5’4 my whole collection of bags is jumbos 😂 I look at the medium and I’m like where do you put anything?? I trot around in this bag I can not afford to repurchase 😂 I don’t care about proportions, I feel not fully dressed when I’m using a medium. Also coco handles will become plural. After you get one you’re going to realize what you would like in a second one lol just my opinion 😂 I’m pretty new to your channel bc I’m a Chanel person lol ❤
If you want to buy Chanel, buy pre-loved. Better quality. Personally, I was done with Chanel when they stopped making the Grand Shopping Tote, GST. I could own one in every color. ❤ Now, it's all about Hermes for me, especially their tea cups and saucers and silk scarves, of which I own 40.

I would consider what holes you have in your collection, utility wise first. If they fill a need, then consider one. My opinion on Chanel is that they have a low regard for their customers, so i have a low opinion of them.
