Amp settings won't get you there - Tone is not in the amp settings! Marshall amps have very ineffective tone controls when driven. The tone has to be there with almost any 'usual' setting. Further tweaking depending on the guitar and room is done with the tone controls. Furthermore, every Marshall is so different you can't just compare settings by eye. Two same amps will sound vastly different with same settings. That has also to do with potentiometers never being exactly the same. They have 20% tolerance.
Nailed it! I often like to jam on this one and learned it by ear and noticed I play it very differently - you play it more close to the record. Cheers man!
