I've built 2 schluter showers with pans but i didnt red guard the walls. How did you overlap with the walls? Are you able to use kerdi band? I would use Kerdi band instead of more redguard. To be clear, i used kerdi on the walls and sealed all seams with kerdi band
Thanks! I do have a kerdi band in the bottom where the cement board and shower pan meets. I just didn’t use it over the entire wall. Gladly, I was able to get it fixed.
Never a doubt that you would figure it out! You legit sis. Thanks for sharing the mishaps and issues! Can’t wait for next week
Good thing you did the water test! That could have been a nasty mess!! Can't wait to see your video next week. Have a very blessed Christmas!
Me too! I would have been doing the entire shower over 😢. It saved me so much potential damage. You have a blessed Christmas as well ❤️
Looking good already
Extremely clean prep work!! Super inspiring
And was impressed how you worked the Durock with ease.. that is not easy to do
You rock!!
Glad you were able to figure it out and fix it. It looks great already!
Also, the best resource for Schluter is the now archived John bridge tile forum
It’s going to be nice when you’re done. Things always happen during a Reno, just keep working through it!
Oh no! You will get it
Its looking really good. Im glad that you used more red guard. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
Thanks. Happy holidays to you and your family as well
