Yes. Finally a top 10! This idea came into my mind yesterday. So I spent 5 hours working on this edit. And I'm happy to announce our first top 10 Beautiful Modern Piano Pieces. We hope you'll enjoy this one. And stay safe and healthy
I just got a piano today. I learned 2 songs years ago, so not completely new to it but been looking for something with emotion and melody that I've not heard 100x on youtube already and a good few of these hit the spot. I am only listening on a crappy phone and quality is great, so I guess through monitors it will be fab. This is a really useful video for me. Thank you. I find a lot of older classical pieces lack emotion due to poor chord progressions and lacking melodies, or start well then get boring. These songs were way more up my street. You've got a new sub. 💪
I have to listen to some of those a bit more. Lot's of stuff I'm not familiar with here 🙂 nice compilation video. Are they in your order of preference?
Some of these may very well be better written than a quite a bit of the classical pieces we glorify today, at least in basic tune, but could definitely use some more detail. Overall: great video, great selection, good playing, under-appreciated topic, and I enjoyed it.
@@PianoTimeOfficial Yes that truly is unfortunate, but never the less the way you play piano is amazing, and I’m pretty sure that you can make anything sound good
I KNOW ITS LONG BUT PLEASE READ🥺😊 Piano is such a strong thing in the world. I was just in preschool and they put on a piano piece to fall asleep and just closing my eye and listening to the music I saw a story in my head relating to the music. I had the vision that idk what they were doing if they were awake or asleep but there was a man and a woman on a bed i dont remember if one of them was doing something bad or if they were both doing something bad but I vividly (specifically there was a little ally with vines on the wall and the walls were very bumpy and earthy and the little ally was between the house and the other houses brick wall and I just remember the police sneaking quietly to the back and it was this part of the vision I had that I will always remember/see whenever I hear piano. Idk why but I feel that it was really powerful and I didn’t get good vibes from the vision so I couldn’t even go to sleep. Or idk if it was my first time actually really listening to music not with my ears and really feeling the music ) I also remember I felt so strange because I would get this specific part in my head anytime I closed my eyes and it was so weird because it felt like every move they made was so light and graceful but so heavy at the same time. It was like a ballet dance but it was messy. I felt like the music was molding every step they made and their movement just went with the music so well. It was so weird , anyways… I remember the police quietly trying to sneak in the house and the woman and the man was trying to escape the police and that’s all I remember and I couldn’t go to sleep because I would always get that vision and it was a bad feeling. My brother told me about these piano pieces and the story was of how it felt to have dementia and every song the dementia was getting worse and worse until they don’t remember anything or they die. I was so confused about how something with no words can tell such a powerful story until I heard these pieces and remembers that time in preschool. Music is powerful because I was just playing a drums pad not even the drum set a real drum.. a drum pad and even then I felt the power of music. I forgot how the notes went and how the song we were playing went but i just kept moving my hands and some how I just remembered again. It didn’t even feel like that it felt like my hands remembered not my mind. It was such a weird feeling and I was so surprised that I got every note right even though I forgot. My jaw literally dropped and I was so amazed(no literally you should’ve seen my face when it happened) I don’t think we are appreciating music as much as we should. And more (like our earth)(another little rant) but I almost cried when my mom read me this beautiful passage from a book about earth and it described the setting so well it was so beautiful I nearly cried. My eyes were teary I didn’t want to cry over some words I thought they were just words I should actually cry when I see it. I regret not crying and letting it all out because if I could not cry over that I probably won’t cry over other passages like that one and I feel I wouldn’t be appreciating our earth and just in general the beautiful and the beauty of it all.
@@TF2Starlight It is an arrangement on the piano. It was oringaly Händel his piece. You can very cleary hear it's modern, because it sounds and has the same tones as all the other modern piano pieces. So it is a crime to call this arrangement classical, because this isn't on the level of old composers.

This is a really nice video, btw have you heard of Ludovico Einaudi, he is also a modern composer and his piano pieces are amazing
Yes. I know einaudi his pieces. But the copyright domain is really crooked with his pieces unfortunately :/

Nuvole bianche is my favourite

Can I know the names of these pieces? Was looking for the second piece for few years...
All of the pieces have their respective titles. So just go ahead at the beginning of the piece and you'll find em all ;)
@@PianoTimeOfficial Thanks, didn't realise that as i closed my eyes while listening ;)
@@limlim3559 Youre welcome ;) glad you enjoyed it
Is definitely doesn't have as much recognition as it deserves ❤️
Thank you
Great Job man i really liked it ! Can i know which vst u using ?
We are using a free standard vst from FL studio i don't know which one it is. But it is one from the FL studio software ;)
Oh yeah! Our 2nd pianist who played cristofori's dream and dark night of the soul. He uses a vst called: pianissimo
I have a theory that all modern classical piano music is either completely discordant or sounds like incidental film music, this would be the latter
Very true!!
My favorite song was cristofori's dream 🎉😀
Beautiful😄😄😄🤗
Thank you! We appreciate it ;)
Will you make a video of a robot playing rush E
Very inspiring !!! This is a bit of my game. Love it !!!! Xx :-)

I spend a great time!
Up until 14 seconds into the video you get a clear representation of what my car sounds like when inserting the keys
Sounds like you need to go to the mechanic ;) Thank you for watching
