As I normally do with STM32F103C8T6, I have just changed the HCLK Frequency to 180MHz assuming that HSE auto-select. Later I found that we have to manually tick the HSE button for Nucleo STM32F446RE. No worries. It will still work fine without HSE

I do not have stm32l475vgt6 with me But I have done this motor and l298n with stm32f446re and stm32f103c8 the link is ruclips.net/video/0rbKmkNEdAU/видео.html you can compare both and you may be able to do the same with any stm32 by yourself
