UDIO It is absolutely random, one expects more obedience in lyrics and rhythms ,something that SUNO has!
I'll have to try Sudo again. I started on Sudo but didnt really understand it.. I then moved to Udio, and I love it.. I made an epic metal ballad about a game im playing.. for example it starts with an orchestral haunting like Jerry Goldsmith (Alien) work.. you just tell it what to do.. I then added custom lyrics, told what kind of stlye I wanted.

Well, normally it only takes a few seconds, I think they simply hadn't counted on the amount of content being created at the time.

@MikkelGrumBovin I do agree that it takes no talent though. I honestly only use this when I'm bored just for fun in creating silly tracks.

I've been using both Udio and Suno a lot recently and Udio is definitely better - the songs it generates are of a much higher quality, much clearer and crisper, and more varied too.
You really should have piped the audio from the websites directly in to the recording, instead of whatever this was. I guess we'll just have to take your word for how they sound.

I disagree, Suno is better and top currently in my opinion, Suno has better usage of sound varieties and lyrical performance compared to Udio (In this case the genre combination use in Suno is actually far better than Udio), you are more likely to get more positive results and more bangers from Suno V3 than Udio Beta. Suno in custom mode is actually the best. I've generated 30+ times in Udio and only 2 - 3 bangers in comparison with Suno in which I generate 10 songs and theres like 6 bangers. The only thing that i find that stands above Suno is Udio's vocal sound quality that I wished Suno had, One big advantage of Udio is its 600 prompt limit at the start in comparison to Suno 50 prompt limit when trying out for free.
I hear you, but I'm surprised that you feel Suno has better performances. I've found exactly the opposite. Udio let's me get a 'banger' so much quicker than Suno. I also can't take the compression artifacts from Suno any more. The stereo output from Udio really makes a HUGE difference in enjoyment as far as I'm concerned. But hey, in the end it's great that there's choice now eh? :)
@@NigelPowell Also the main problem that I have with Udio is its inability to be consistent with custom lyrics, it randomly nitpicks lyrics from what was written randomly at places and just jumbles them and its not very orderly while Suno will follow the lyrics from top to bottom and still perform lyrically fine.
@@ezdelicades5554 it's interesting you say that, because I find they both scramble lyrics at times in order to fit in with their melodies. It's strange. I guess the melody takes precedence. I don't find Udio hugely different to Suno in this regard though. Maybe it depends on the genre.

the problem i have with Udio is that the songs are too short. it generates a legendary 33 seconds.
If you look at Suno and Sonaute it's up to 2 minutes.
that's why Udio is not usable for me (not yet)
and when I see that nothing has changed on Udio in a month, I don't see much to come.

Um that's simply not true. The initial clip is 33 seconds, but you can then instantly extend the track up to 15 minutes. There's been a huge number of improvements in the last two months too. Including inpainting, clip editing, re-write lyrics, and more. I suspect you haven't looked at it properly recently.

@@chesterhill5693 yes the first clip is 33 seconds. Then you select which of the two clips you prefer, and press the Extend button. You'll see it in the track settings or if you click on the three dots. Once you do that, you get a choice of adding a normal extension, or adding an intro or an outro. You can also choose to add your own lyrics, or instrumental or let the app do all the work. Once that extended clip has been created, you can repeat the process until you have the length of track you need. There's a lot of RUclips guides to help if you need. Also check out the featured songs on the front page to get an idea of length etc. Good luck.

Yeah I think that's the interesting thing. Different styles can benefit from different apps, right?

I have to correct something said about Udio read terms of condition, you do not get commercial rights. You have to give them attributes and you can’t use it to make money. You should read it.

Clause 6.3.1 " As between the Company and you, the Company does not claim any ownership in Your Content, including any Output generated by you in response to the submission of your Input Content to the Services...Subject to your compliance with these Terms, including, without limitation, Section 6.4, you may use your Output for both personal and commercial purposes, and we permit you to download a copy of your Output that consists of an audio file for such purposes."
Clause 6.4.1 "...then you agree to include a credit, notice or other indicator in connection with such use (e.g., in the track title, in the credits section, etc.) that prominently indicates that such Output was generated using the Services. Such notice will be in a form and manner that is reasonable and practicable in light of the usage concerned. "
In other words, you get full commercial rights and ownership to all tracks you create. However the company requires you to credit Udio as the tool used. This is in line with increasing requirements (including from Google's RUclips) that AI generation is explicitly credited for any content which has been made in whole or part by an AI tool. It also stops people creating with one tool and pretending they a) used another tool or b) did the work themselves.
