We’re coming to Lanzerote for Christmas. Our first ever Christmas away. Your vlog is so informative and I watch avidly to learn as much as I can ahead of our trip. Thank you 😊
Hi Mike, one for the news next Saturday, the Lanzarote Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k is on 7th December, but the closing date for entry is 30th November. Not everyone’s cup of tea but Lanzarote is great for running (and anything outdoors) in the winter months. Thanks for your updates.
Thank you very much Mike, we left the island on Tuesday but return in 2 weeks. The place just gets better, and you and your updates are part of that. Thank you. Stu
Good blog as usual. We witnessed the hailstones in Playa Blanca on Thursday. Needless to say the hail was short lived in the 28deg sunshine. Have a good trip.
Wonderful vlog thank you and how kind are you checking out rentals for people. 🎉😊 So disappointing for people to get ripped off their holiday money wasted😢
Mike loved Doll's House story. I hope the family who now own property have many happy years in its residence, I commend them for their investment of such a historical landmark and holiday home. At my age, I will never view Juanitas house, in the flesh, but welcome any stories of the island, its traditions , culture, and any facet of interest us Northern Europeans (Irish), would enjoy.
Hi there Is it easy for someone to move permanently to Lanzarote? Are the Canary Islands part of EU ? Me and my partner thinking moving somewhere warmer Please can you let me know about what you need to move to Lanzarote Thanks
Having a lovely time here in Costa Teguise, just a word of warning for people going to puerto de carmen, great place really buzzing but beware of a scammer who asks you to sign to help a deaf children’s foundation then expects you to give 20 euros, we just gave a couple of euros and he started getting annoyed, only after we were told he was a scammer, can’t believe I fell for it😖😖😖,great place tho 👍💃🏻
Any news on the guy they brought out of the sea in Puerto del Carmen a few days ago? We were on the beach as it happened. It wasn't a good thing to see but we hope he made it, he wasn't breathing when he was brought on shore.
Please consider in brief News, Mike. Are the beaches in Lanzerote, man made?..Discuss grape crop, do harvesters come over from Cuba, still? Video Villages, up on inner Island. Show traditions of Spain/ Lanzerote Religious/ secular. Discuss childhood education, recreation, where local families holiday. Discuss 'objections' to tourism, from local prospective. Property ownership for younger generation, and besides tourist industry, Work, University Ed, Skill/ trade ?. Is it true, farming families gave the farm to Male, and seashore property to daughters: the females own most of valuable foreshore, and are the wealthy ones, now?
Hi Liam. Most of those aren’t “news” stories, but more general interest stuff, many of which we’ve covered either on the website or here on You Tube. But thank you for the missing ones, and I’ll add them to the list.

@@kyriakoskaplanis5227 Yes. We are part of the European Union. If you are an EU citizen, you have a right to live and work here.

@@mikeatcora we have seen any news about it, so hopefully all OK.
Is there any update on the hotel check-in data grab?
What is "lamb´s milk?"
It was a slip of the tongue, but well picked up. Of course, I meant Sheep’s milk.
