I pre ordered this phone from Best Buy I have had it for about 2 days now the phone is absolutely amazing there is nothing like you about it at all the memory inside this phone is energetic and insightful. If there were only one bad thing it would maybe be because you have small hands or maybe that the speaker sometimes is covered on the back so music is muffled. Other than that I've never seen a camera like this not face forward anyway. The rugged and smooth feel makes you almost agree you don't need a case to protect it its metal siding is unbelievable and smooth. I have had about 30 smartphones this one is the best. You will not regret this phone at all if you are a gamer a movie watcher a note taker or just a person with bad eyes it is a great phone. Even the features inside the operating system make it user friendly.
I think this video is by far the best I have seen! I can't believe all the dislikes. What have those people done to create anything other than criticize ?

My galaxy note 4 doesn't have the same options for the home screen, and lock screen transitions that your phone does? Or the disable flip board option, what's the story?
Tony Parker You know how you can delete apps or widgets by holding down your finger? When you do this, on the bottom of the screen it gives you the option of wallpaper, widgets and home screen settings. Select home screen settings, and you'll see the option to change the transition effect.
Mrs. RockKitty Your Welcome ccg1171 You hold the button the lower left next to the home button. and then look for home screen settings on the lower right. Anb then you will see transition effect.

Sakitech... Thank you for a taking your time to educate us on how to use Note 4. Quick question, on the Settings menu, how did you get the TABS on top "Quick Settings, Connections & Device"? I don't have that in my Note 4 nor an option to do this. I noticed, some of what you are teaching is not on my phone example, assign a contact from the top right of the Contacts. I did update software on my phone but no changes.

HYITHO Don't know what you are talking abou... My note 4 works so fast on 4.4.4, where you got you "lag"? I cant make this device to lag even a bit while i got my wifi on, youtube movie in background and playing game... This device is NO-LAG at all... maybe you were dreamin? :)
Keshia Hare nope it's real, the set up was just slightly different and can be switched back and forth between the one one on the video and the one I'm used to. I tried it already.

Really great video. I would actually pay to go to an evening class to become a Note 4 power user. Your video was just like going to class. This is an awesome device, and I am getting mine tomorrow, unless the Verizon store runs out before I get there.
Only thing holding me back from buying a Samsung phone is the slow and laggy user interface. For a device so powerful to have such a slow crappy UI is unacceptable Samsung should have fix this problem since thy launch the S4 which shows they really don't care about this so screw them
You know I'm a samsung fan? What is this bull shit. As a consumer i don't distinguish myself like your kind. I like Apple and buy their products just like samsung, LG, or Sony to name a few. I personally prefer the Note 4 over the iPhone 6 plus. The 6 plus just feels like my iPad air becoming dull and boring to say the least. The note 4 however is more appealing to me with more functionality endless customization and productivity yet still able to be faster than the iPhone 6 plus considering the fact that is has to do far much work to output that performance than the iPhone.

'Disable Pen Detection' (under s pen alerts) is a useful one to check, it simply turns off the wireless scanning for the pen when it is safe in s silo to save battery power, there s no down side to this check box and I'm surprise it doesn't just do it automatically! Thanks! Lots of good stuff!
I just have to say thank you for posting this video. I have been wavering as to whether I was wanting to upgrade to either this phone or the S5. And after watching this video, I totally want the Note 4. ***** I totally agree. i upgraded from iPhone 5 after watching hours of video reviewing the note 4. I have had the note 4 now for 2 months and am NOT disappointed at all. I still enjoy watching new and old videos explaining the feature of the note 4 as there are so many. Its a great phone and if its size and feature set are what interest you, you will not be disappointed either. I always fine it humorous that people feel the need to criticize apple over android or android over apple. The way i see it, most phone manufacturers (especially Apple, Samsung, etc) make amazing phone and all companies need each other to continue to make amazing phones. Competition is a good thing - It helps keep technology rolling forward whilst keeping the cost of new technology low (or at least lower than it would be without the competition) I am now using the Note 4 but i understand that if not for the iPhone 6/6plus, the note 4 would probably be half the phone at double the cost !! In another two years, i may want to change my phone to an iPhone 7 or 8. At that time, i will likely be very grateful to companies like Google or Samsung for keeping the pressure on Apple which ultimately brought about a new innovation from Apple that will catch my interest then. Just excellent sakitech, I've had the note 4 for 1 year now and did not really know how to use it to it's best at all. You have changed this and I cannot wait to learn more. I will prioritise Spen and I wonder how useful Widgets are, any tutorial suggestion for these ? Thank you.
Don't forget one of the best features the Note 4 has is "tap to take photo." Basically lets you tap anywhere on the screen to take a photo, you don't have to be at all precise, or use one little button to do it. Very helpful in bumpier situations.

The video really helped out. I like how in depth you went. Since you did get down to the nitty gritty I was able to fix some of the issues with the phone. Even though it's a long video I had no troubles sitting through it. The content was organized and easy to follow. I watched some other videos like this and all they went through were the basics. I just got given a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and this vid is a godsend. What really sucks though is how the menu is blue/white, i hate that. I want black/white text. Looks nicer and saves battery. Have yet to play with all its functions but this is a great vid!

Just bought the note4 last week, reallly amaaazing awesomee :))) my last was sgs2 so it was a big step up for me. Multitasking and the S-pen are really big advantages, and what a screen, lol crystall clear. For me the best phone atm. (My opinion)
I'm getting a Note 4 in a few days c: big upgrade to what I have now😂 I love the way the emojis look & how you can change the font of the entire phone. ❤ I also think that I will use the S-pen quite often Lol. I hate touching my screen, leaving fingerprints! Great video by the way! c: 💯
I just got mine, black, 3 days ago. Came from an S4. Pre-ordered the S6 Edge. Hated it with a passion. Traded that for the Note. I love it. This is such an awesome smartphone. I want it sooo much. I have a Note 3 but I can't wait for lollipop forever and even then, I wouldn't be getting the same experience. If you want the best Note possible, get the Note 4 if your budget allows you to.

There are a couple of things that your phone could do that mine couldn't. Is it because you are with AT&T and I'm not?

You have to hold the active apps button on the lower left next to the home button and home screen settings should be the 3rd on the bottom.

I totally agree. i upgraded from iPhone 5 after watching hours of video reviewing the note 4.
I have had the note 4 now for 2 months and am NOT disappointed at all. I still enjoy watching new and old videos explaining the feature of the note 4 as there are so many. Its a great phone and if its size and feature set are what interest you, you will not be disappointed either.
I always fine it humorous that people feel the need to criticize apple over android or android over apple.
The way i see it, most phone manufacturers (especially Apple, Samsung, etc) make amazing phone and all companies need each other to continue to make amazing phones. Competition is a good thing - It helps keep technology rolling forward whilst keeping the cost of new technology low (or at least lower than it would be without the competition)
I am now using the Note 4 but i understand that if not for the iPhone 6/6plus, the note 4 would probably be half the phone at double the cost !!
In another two years, i may want to change my phone to an iPhone 7 or 8. At that time, i will likely be very grateful to companies like Google or Samsung for keeping the pressure on Apple which ultimately brought about a new innovation from Apple that will catch my interest then.

Don't forget one of the best features the Note 4 has is "tap to take photo." Basically lets you tap anywhere on the screen to take a photo, you don't have to be at all precise, or use one little button to do it. Very helpful in bumpier situations.

The video really helped out. I like how in depth you went. Since you did get down to the nitty gritty I was able to fix some of the issues with the phone. Even though it's a long video I had no troubles sitting through it. The content was organized and easy to follow. I watched some other videos like this and all they went through were the basics. Since you showed that developer options I was able to fix the main issue I was having with this phone. Thanks much, and keep making good videos.

I had a choice of purchasing the 6 Edge, however, I always liked the large size of the Note that a couple of my friends owned. Your clear and detailed tips are already making me a "happy camper". My dream phone simply for the NOTE writing feature alone MOST of those features I will never use on this Phone just the texting camera and NOTE taking mainly but I hope I get a NOTE 3-4-5-6-7 one day thanks for the detailsand tips. Good job !

I just got given a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and this vid is a godsend. What really sucks though is how the menu is blue/white, i hate that. I want black/white text. Looks nicer and saves battery. Have yet to play with all its functions but this is a great vid!

Just bought the note4 last week, reallly amaaazing awesomee :))) my last was sgs2 so it was a big step up for me. Multitasking and the S-pen are really big advantages, and what a screen, lol crystall clear. For me the best phone atm. (My opinion)
Still rockin' my Note 4 in 2023! Was the last Note with removable battery, which I regularly buy replacement batteries for. ☺️

I just got mine, black, 3 days ago. Came from an S4. Pre-ordered the S6 Edge. Hated it with a passion. Traded that for the Note. I love it. Im trying to get used to the size but I think I will without any problems. I usually watch lots of movies and videos so it should be perfect. I'm glad this is here so I can understand how to use it. At least its a lot like the S4. Thanks man.

This is such an awesome smartphone. I want it sooo much. I have a Note 3 but I can't wait for lollipop forever and even then, I wouldn't be getting the same experience. If you want the best Note possible, get the Note 4 if your budget allows you to.

Great video, but I noticed that not all Note 4's seem to have the same menus. I suppose this has to do with the different carriers. But your video is very informative and helps anyone to learn more of the great features this phone has. Thanks a lot!
