@@erikatorresmusic_ Thank you for making us proud to be Filipino because of what you've been doing Miss Erika for loving our language and singing it, very very proud Filipino here.
Well done, Erika, well done! 😊👏👏👏 So nice to hear you singing a Morissette song, and it's impressive that you can sing in a language completely foreign to you. Bravo and thank you! 🥰
If you sing a song wich the language is not your own use daily, it's really hard to pronounce it well, but! you did it so well, hopefully you make more cover Filipino song and may GOD help you as well. ❤ from 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🙏
WOW❤ u'r awesome Ms. Erika❤singing a song in a foreign language? just amazing❤thank you for singing this song, for sure Queen Mori is sooo proud of you❤thank you for loving us 🇵🇭❤God bless❤️🙏😘
WOOW I'M SHOCKED! YOU PRONOUNCED IT SO WELL! Congratulations! I miss your posts as I enjoy watching your analysis from the point of view of a musician, a sax player & a pianist. These are instruments I don't play and wish I could. But, I play the stringed instruments from Ukelele, Guitar, bass, banjo & Mandolin. You sang the Visayan song so well with the right pronunciation. I could close my eyes and understand it. I hope you can listen and sing one of the most popular Visayan classic song " USAHAY" with SAX intro WHICH Morisette & her husband Dave Lamar interestingly mashed up with "MOON RIVER" link: ruclips.net/video/IzV6XKtpf6E/видео.html ... this was some time ago during the pandemic lockdown period.
THANK YOU ❤❤ omg from a native speaker that means so much. Sounds like you’re super musically inclined as well those are a LOT of instruments!!! Thanks for the recommendation I’ll be sure to check it out. I’ve been turned on to so much great music through you guys!
@@erikatorresmusic_ Visayan dialect "Bisaya" is a Regional language that Morissette natively speaks as she is from Cebu located in Central Visayas of the Philippines. To understand each other, we also speak the national language "Tagalog" and English as it is COMPULSORY in the school curriculum from elementary to College. There are an estimated 120 to 180 languages in the Philippines with about 7,146 islands. There are still many who speak "Spanish" as we were under Spanish rule for about 333 years. Spanish was once compulsory in school, but now, it is elective.
Erika, it just shows how your vocal can improve by singing a different dialect/language songs, as you indeed have to focus on the emphasis of the proper word pronunciation. Too many western artists where they chew the words and it takes away from the beauty of the song.
Her voice doesn't improve by singing other dialect songs - She's a vocal coach for years. Her improvement is on learning new language and correct pronounciation. 😊✌ 👏👏👏Erika.

Yuo are now Erika “Bisdak” Torres hmmmmm…..
What the fuck ❤ really thought i missed something you are now singing in another language.

With your pedigree in singing why would you completely autotune this performance and pretend it's live? It's very discrediting, in my opinion.
