I see your side to his character but again there are many douchebag and he though not good made realistic assumptions in splitting up, granted he knew nothing about Jinwoo. Also recall how they had actually spent a week in there. Before they popped out they specified the time. Imagine starving in the cold, running away from hunters ( ice elves) for your life and just feeling guilty about the defeat. Dude definitely wasn’t in the right state of mind and he saw the other group having a time of their life, camping while his group got annihilated. Jealousy is a powerful part of human nature. Just look at the people that mock billionaires for owning resources and saying stuff like if you all donated the money you guys have. Pretty normal to expect him to break down that way. Although I’m also not against Jinwoo for prioritizing his life mid battle.

Remember back in season 1 episode 6 when Dongsuk (Dongsoo's older brother) is going to kill Jinwoo, Jinwoo got a notification from the system to kill the enemies because they gonna kill him or else he's going to receive a punishment. Same goes to Kim Chul who's also going to kill Jinwoo and Jinwoo didn't wait for the system to notify him because it's going to happen either way. That's why Jinwoo said Kim Chul is so predictable and straight up kill him to help him kill Baruka. But yeah, it's dark
Just to answer the question of how Jin-woo knew to arise Kim chul into Iron; which im assuming you guys were asking because the times he tried to revive igris failed and so did his attempt against the ice elf. The reason he was confident was because the success depends on his power level, and since he was clearly overwhelmingly stronger than Kim chul, he was able to do it on his first try, the same with the bears and the mages

Kim Chul ended up being a liability to every member of his squad, including himself. He led half the squad to their deaths and stood there and watched as they were slaughtered. He came across the lower ranks in the forest and decided to try to execute them. The only part that is morally questionable was raising him as a shadow, but even then that moral question is moot because it came down to survival. Did he deserve a less harsh punishment.. sure I guess. But his own actions led to his death.
Jinwoo can only see the enemy's bars when he's in the system's instance dungeon. remember that the system's dungeon (example: the kasaka boss dungeon back in season 1 ep3 and the demon's castle) is different from a regular dungeon because as of the moment we only saw jinwoo access the instance dungeons
Kim becoming a shadow and it being prety dark is shown more in the manwa. From what i remenber from the manwa. Jinwoo was indeed very cruel in his way of thinking with Kim. He needed an other shadow to win easely and so left kim capable of moving and with his swords nearby so if he attacking him he could arise him without guilt as it was self defence but he was prepared to do it since the start and curious if he can do it on a human. Jinwoo as lost some humanity in his quest for power.

Turning kim chul into shadow was not dark because if you remember s1 where he gets quest to kill people who are hostile towards him, this might have been similar and he wouldn't have won the fight without iron so he needed him

The system gives no quarter and takes no prisoners. The gates are a "law of the jungle" scenario, meaning its kill or be killed, if you do not support me you are a liability. Survival of the fittest cares only for the fittest. Not to mention jinwoo's perception actively "tells" him where threats are, meaning he can feel the presence of an intent against him/wants to unalive him. Also his shadows to begin with are 50% what they were in life and keep all or most abilities.

I find it funny that people forgot that when someone wants to kill jinwoo that the system detects it and he is given no option but to kill the attacker or he will die.

Kim may be not in his right mind but he's trying to kill Jinwoo hence activating the quest and requiring Jinwoo to kill him. Also, Kim left them for dead when he created the teams in the previous episode, he's not really innocent.
(Spoiler-free) The thing about why he’s hiding it is not because his strength but more about his growth in strength, hunter is strong he might get some scouts trying to recruit him , hunter that is S would get public attention, hunter that has reawakened is rare but hunter that can keep growing? , he’d probably be skinned like a lab rat to find out how and why ,and some S ranks would question it, especially if he reveals it when he’s weak and can’t defend himself, since S ranks can basically do whatever the fuck they want since they are above the law , he’s trying to reach that before revealing he’s strong so no one would come for him or suspect his abilities, jin woo wants to be recognized as an S rank once he gets there but if he had gone public with it earlier the test would scale him to B maybe and they would deem it a rare reawakening, but then what?, he gets to S level and tries to take the test again, how does he justify 2 jumps in power despite 2 reawakenings being completely unheard of in the world
