That is a very mature thing to realize, Max. Valuing the experience your raiders have during the raid over the obsessive drive to win, and knowing that they will perform to the level of the bond the group has is something so many teams regardless of the competition miss out on. Clubhouse/Team atmosphere and everyone feeling relaxed, supported and motivated for each other is a performance enhancing drug in its own right, its just your brain pumping out the endorphins instead of a pill. Its better for the players, fans, competition as a whole and it brought you home the win. Dont lose sight of who you are and what you stand for because of the prize at the end of the road.
I remember my old guild first n’zoth clear it took us so long and after we did it my raid lead went down the roster of everyone in raid and complimented them on something they did great during the encounter. It really is a special feeling when you accomplish a goal
Don't know if this is a hot take or not, but I really enjoy the fast pace, first week clear. It felt like the stakes of every wipe were so much higher.
Lowkey teared up when you guys won earlier. Haven’t been watching long but you guys care about what you do and seeing such a tightly knit group of gamers get together and win something like this is amazing. Good job this tier guys. Time to kick ass for the next one!

FiredUp has consistently topped meters for all styles of bosses since BFA, his intuition and ability to be nimble with decision making is S tier, and rarely makes mistakes. Those alone puts him in an echelon, coupled with his MDI experience.
I will not be able to play anywhere near that well even after 10x as many pulls and with the benefit of being able to copy his timings. The man is a wizard in real life!
This was honestly fun to watch. The whole race and all the time, effort, planning, etc that goes in to it. I think things were well tuned. A week 1 kill by some of the best players on the planet, utilizing all the tactics feasible, is a reasonable outcome. There's casual guilds, there's AOTC guilds, there's Mythic guilds, there's RWF guilds, and then there's you top two/three that even stand apart from the rest. Congrats. Now you can get some sleep!

Even though I am not a Liquid fan, I think this was the most enjoyable race to watch for me that I can remember. It was super tense that you guys kept over taking each other, then it seemed guaranteed that you would win when you got the 2% pull, but suddently Echo started getting sub 10% pulls too. This was an amazing event from everyone involved, thanks for that

Just because they're not constructing sentences from memes or running around like a kid in a candy store post-race doesn't mean Echo are a business and not having fun. I swear this must be some weird American cultural value thing if you can't see that Echo have a great atmosphere - they aren't the ones that have had major burnout issues over the last few tiers.
I personally much, much prefer a shorter race than a lengthy, potentially close to a 2nd reset race Sepulcher was far too long, lost interest multiple times during that race This race I was locked in, watched for hrs every single day Sure, some bosses could've been tuned tigher (Magmorax, Zskarn?), but I found the bosses interesting to watch, especially Sark A
@@tekillaking89 Simply wasnt true though. They literally were outperforming during Neltharion and Sark. And killed it in 31 less pulls than Echo. When all both of these guilds are just doing raid splits first, its a non factor.

True world first raiding took place when you had a bunch of guys you didn’t recruit from other countries and farmed their own stuff. Liquid and Echo don’t impress me. It’s literally their helpers winning it for them. I don’t see a scroll of all the helpers names after these videos. It just doesn’t feel natural. I’m more impressed with a server first from non paid players than a world first of paid players getting handed loot.

no matter who won this race was a banger to watch! the only thing that could have made it better for all teams would have been a global release to avoid that slingshot effect. But fk yeah I do like all teams and am so happy to see such an intense race. Even method catching up was a banger feeling! Well tuned, awesome played and insane entertainement!
I think this was an awesome raid! At the end of the day people need to remember this is a game designed to be played by millions not just 60ppl. Blizz can only tune and design to a point before professional teams with 3rd party programs and analysts make it trivial. Was also awesome to see Method back in the running.

I'm from EU so was on side of Echo. But this was such a great race with great ending. If there was anything to wish for it's for few more pulls required from earlier bosses so this did end on Tuesday, but clear before the reset actually feels good. It was not to short to end on the weekend but also without Reset Drama, nobody was tired because 2 week push. It was just short and satisfying. Great job! (also, purely by accident on monday I found myself in RtWF Sanctum of Domination t-shirt 0.o)
