I've been a fan of the Lynn Minmay version for such a long time now... This version turns out to be good and beyond my expectations.

This version is not bad tbh. But it's a long echo from Megumi Nakajima ver. and subsequently the original by Ijima Mari.
This is indeed not bad, but still the Lynn Minmay version is the best. Because it always gives nostalgic feelings even for those who never watched the movie.

@@demonknight5617 Not my intention. It's just that comparing it to the original, Macross 7's and Macross Frontier's versions it is the worst so far
too modern, I guess?
I personally think you can make an old song to be more current without too much rely on electronics music
But this version make and keep this song alive...
@@lknishaI don't think modern is the problem, so much as the weird stylistic choice. The original sounds like a pop song made for a climax in a movie(obviously). The Mylene Jenus version I know of still sounds like a pop song, as does the Mari Iijima version, while Frontier went more modern and focuses more in the "climactic battle" direction. On the ither hand, this one is giving me...R&B Christmas vibes? I'm not sure, it's just off somehow to me.
