    The influence of c*caine on American culture in the late 80's and 90's is undeniable. From news articles by Gary Webb, to interviews like this one, we get a brilliant glimpse into the mechanics of the drug's distribution in the States. The wisdom he's gained is heard all throughout this video- won't hear this quality of stuff in a public high school history class. Great work!

    • @captainfalcon8615
      @captainfalcon8615 5 лет назад +1

      Undeniable isn't even the word for it, the difference between darkness and light is how different the world would be now without cocaine ever hitting the scene, how many kids wouldn't be born is just inconceivable the only thing that wouldn't be different is water being wet

    • @BostonsF1nest
      @BostonsF1nest Год назад

      Not only culture but cocaine had a tremendous impact on the American economy. Entire cities were built on the money made thru the cocaine trade. All those illegal earnings needed to be laundered and that’s a big reason why there was such a huge construction boom in the 80’s in Miami, LA, and NYC. Not to mention all the money that was funneled into the justice system that helped boost the overall economy. Cocaine had a really influential effect on American culture, politics, legal system, infrastructure, and the nation as a whole.

Fabolous pulling up to Brooklyn with the whole Street Fam along with BMF. He must've had the first Bentley GT I've ever seen. I thought the shit was the Batmobile. Ridiculous. I am tired of hearing about "BMF"!!! No hate, it's just that there are numerous interviews, articles, and videos, talking about the same thing. I want to hear about a new crew that was never talked about like "Pony Down" from Detroit and the "Mac Baller Brims" movement going on in New York right now!!!
    They suppose to be the biggest thing in New York, and law enforcement in New York reported that the "Baller Brims" are very organized like the italian mob.
    And I haven't heard anything about "BMF" and what went down with the nephew of Bobby Brown, and no one really talked about how Wolf and Big Meech were actually friends before the altercation.
    There is an O.G. Crip by the name Micheal Concepcion from Cali who needs some shine, too!!!
    That scene from "Training Day" when Snoop told Denzel that he would whip his partners ass if he was in the front seat of his car was actually based on Michael Concepcion, who is in a wheelchair, and supposedly beat the shit out of a couple of people in the front seat of his whip??? Not to mention that he lives in a mansion, still claims Crip, and is highly respected on the west, mid-west, east, southern parts of the country. He was a part of the first generation of the Crips and was tight with "Barefoot" Pookie, Tookie, and Raymond Washington. Most of his family from what he said were "Bloods".
    Chaz "Slim" Williams (RIP), who was a bank robber, and 50 Cents first manager and Foxy Brown, had a very interesting street life.
    No one has ever touched on the street gang the "Spook Hunters" from L.A., a white gang who targeted black people and is part of the reason why black gangs were formed in L.A.. I know some may not be interested in hearing about them, but there is nothing out there about that gang. If it wasn't for their nefarious and racists ways then the blood or crip may not be here??? But that would have been a good thing!!!
