Wow! I just drill a 13 mm hole each corner and use a downward cutting blade in jigsaw for cutting out hob. Tracksaw for long cuts on sink and finish with jigsaw. Nice sharp blade in jigsaw and it cuts perfectly square. I wouldn't risk doing it like that as I aint buying the customer a new worktop if I mess it up! Lol You are obviously confident in your technique of doing it. All the best
I use a track saw and do the corners with a jigsaw. Mark everything on the face side that way there’s no cock ups. Can you imagine if you turned it over having used the wood saw like that and having the laminate chip off. Far safer methods . I used to plunge the old circular saw before having the sense to buy a track saw. If that circular saw kicks you had better be holding on. With stuff in short supply at the moment you can’t afford any cock ups.

I use a multitool but ill defo get the saw on it next time as this looks a great cut 👍
