It's not uncommon kids needing to be rehome because of incompatibility.

Same. Its horrible to think that she gave away a child she adopted but from the videos I saw of her interacting with him she wasn't equipped to handle it mentally. The way she would ask are you done and so on. She had no understanding of what he needed or what her other children needed. I'd rather him given to a family that will actually love and care for him through this time that staying with that family. For both his and the other kids sake

The “rehoming” was obviously beneficial to the child, but the whole situation NEVER should’e happened to begin with...and I think that is where the majority of the outrage came from. The simple fact of the adoption being disrupted would not have caused so much backlash, if all the factors leading up to it hadn’t been so awful.

Rich is a very subjective and relative. You can have a lot of things and as well as a lot of debt. Also it’s very possible to have things that look expensive but they were gifted or found at a great price. Special needs can cost a lot. At my household income is lower 6 figures so upper middle class. But, my daughter’s various therapies cost more than our mortgage. So while technically we had a good income, we also had a lot of necessary expenses.
