I know they were all over the point, lavase river and sunset. I didn't see any in Callander bay though. I bet by the sewage processing plant where they dispense the clean water their are tons because the water is super warm. The one in that photo was 22lbs.
Look for areas on a lake with slow moving water we would just use a hook with corn from. Can sweet corn sinker @ bottom and hook on top and we just wait and slam some nice 20+ carp
It's not that great. The tension backs out on it so you have to constantly adjust it after every 2nd or 3rd cast. It works and looks good but not as good as a piscifun from Amazon.
it did not explode like you hoped it would and the reason you broke the rest of those rod from china is you most likely threw lures out side the rod guidelines meaning to heavy i have four of them and have not broking one yet after two years of use
I used to use right hand retrieve because I didn't realize you could buy bait casters in left hand until I got my Shimano SLX DC 151. Now I will never go back. Spinning rods have that option to move the handle over but bait casters you have to buy them either left or right.
Carp are a pretty awful fish to eat apparently, given they mostly live in crap waters they're quite a muddy-flavoured fish, as for how they got there, sounds like someone stocked the place up with the wrong order or something... :P
@@Skivinz You'd have a field day fishing the canals over here then, they're full of the blighters, to the point you could just pick them up out the water, though a lot of them are actually cross-bred descendents of pet goldfish people released, so probably pretty dumb by their genetics... :P
fire storm is hitting non stop. I want to go camping so bad but we are not allowed to do camp fires so its really not worth camping without a camp fire.

Went fishing for the first time this year Sunday morning along Niagara River (Fort Erie) got 2 Gobi's lol maybe next time I'll land a monster.
We don't have gobi's up here yet....but I am sure they will find their way into our water way.
If it doesn't arrive pre-broken, you need to play the lottery with that kind of luck... :P

I don't really throw heavy lures. Mostly stick baits on 4ot hooks. 90% of the time I forget the bullet weight.

just don't expect that button to do as advertised. Its not a bad reel. I managed to land a 38" pike with it.

I tried everything to hook one of the carp that kept swimming by. They just wouldn't eat and I couldn't get my hook into it for a foul hookset
