I always analyze my commissions. Most of my people that I stay with me for the entire year. Also with ACA commissions are as earned so if we make approximately $300 a year on one a leave from Facebook cost me $15. I would need to write one out of 20 to break even annually

Was that correct? When we want to become the broker of record we have to call in, and they have to go through the whole application? Or do they just have to say they want the agent to be the broker of record?
@@jking5147 yes, if they’re already is a agent of record on the policy, the only way to capture the agent of record is to have the insured on the phone and make a three-way call to the marketplace.
@@jking5147 today, they disabled a link that could be sent to the insurance to complete the application without having to make the call. So for now, it is a three week call otherwise she will not be able to become the agent of record
@thinkmedicarethinkaca Okay, I'm sure theybwill optimize this. All that is needed is for them to enable us to send them a link and they check a box saying they consent. Or, to call in with them, and they tell a rep that they consent, like we do here on the NJ state-based Exchange.
Great video, your input is very insightful and appreciated! What's the average close ratio on leads these days? You mentioned lead costs have increased to about $15 each. So it seems like it would take 6 months to a year to recoup the costs of leads and make a profit.
Thank you. I always annualize my numbers. So if I write one head, I’m gonna make approximately $300 a year. If a lead cost me $15, that means I need to close one out of 20 to breakeven annually.
The problem with social media lease is they have a very short lifespan. So you have to get a hold of them immediately. One of my workflows in my CRM that I utilize is the whisper call function where the CRM captures the lead, send them a text and an email notifying them that I will be contacting them, and then calls me within two minutes asking if I want to connect with the lead. If I punch a number, it will call the lead, connect me, and record the conversation. If we connect with the lead we usually usually will close it
@@thinkmedicarethinkaca Thanks. I was wondering about that, because in the video you mentioned "warming up" the leads before calling them, and I wondered how long that is. It sounds like just a couple minutes before calling.
@@CDDdrums when that lead comes in automatically into the CRM, we send out an email and a text, letting them know who we are, what number we will be calling from as well as what information we are going to need
@@thinkmedicarethinkaca I’ve asked CMS directly and they gave me the “Corporate” answer privately in the Zoom meeting two weeks ago! “They ramp up during Open Enrollment so it should be no problem.”

Luis, I think I heard you mention in another live that you will soon be offering a seminar/educational workshop type video that we could buy and put on some of our ads or use it as a marketing tool. Is that correct?
