This enthusiastic viewer recently had the pleasure of traveling part of the Mohawk Trail, and what a treat. While I didn’t make it all the way to Williamstown, I did enjoy the striking scenery and made several noteworthy stops, including the Poet’s Tower, Historic Deerfield, Bridge of Flowers, and “Hail to the Sunrise.” As suggested by Mr. Stevens, there truly is something to be said about the pleasure of the journey rather than the destination.
A minor correction concerning the opening: the trail in MA runs from Williamstown to Orange, not all the way to Boston.
