Echo isn’t mentioned because he wasn’t on the island. He never retired. Doesn’t mean he is dead!
If he appears in a clone rebellion show which he probably will, odds are he is going to die, just like cody and just like howzer.
Well is posible that he could also be the only Clone to survive more time because he is basically already dead as More cyborg than human so lets see...

@@Theworldisscrewed I don't think so. Just cause they didn't appear in Rebels doesn't mean they're dead. It might mean they're in another part of the galaxy.
If anything, Echo is probably retired from being a soldier but is somewhere else that's like Pabu. He's probably following the same path as The Bad Batch, he finished what he set out to do by saving and help however many clone troopers that are being used and hunted by the Empire and figured that he did enough and it was time to lay down his armor and blaster for good. That's out of character for Echo obviously, but it's a possibility that maybe he retired and is somewhere that is just as safe as Pabu with the other clones.
As long as the clones get a proper series like the Bad batch. If they go with "Tales of the clones" and give us 6x 10 min episodes to just rush harthless through everything, I'm gonna loose it

the clone rebellion wouldn't even be the end of the clones. kix's story with the crimson corsair during the First order era would be the true end of the clone troopers
I don't think Rex will meet with Anakin as Vader for one key reason. Its because if Anakin and Rex see each other, Anakin should have known Ahsoka was alive because he sent Rex with Ahsoka to Mandalor, so if Rex survived should have assumed Ahsoka was also alive. I also think Rex would ask Anakin to "come home" and to try to convince Anakin, Rex would talk about Ahsoka still being alive.

Another clone centered show would be amazing!!!! Also I’m not really upset that some clones weren’t in the huge battles because as Hunter said they have fought enough battles for their lifetime (also because of their accelerated aging fighting would get harder). I like how some clones decided to stop fighting and actually choose what they want to do with their lives.

best part is its not even restricted to empiral era.
echo would defiantly be a good cap off for the galactic war era (rex is in rebels)
rex would be a good finally for that whole saga (literally is on endor)
and kix is still alive and kicking in the force awakens and new trilogy (possible last clone alive as beta and boba are now in their 67-80s).
I cannot wait to see the trailer of the clone rebellion show.

I feel like we haven't gotten enough clones. I still have so many questions and want to see more of them. Although I do prefer to see them in the clone wars era where they were at their peak.

That wouldn’t have happened had we the Clone rebellion in the Bad batch. But Filoni likes to "explore" things. That's the reason we had an entire filler of a season 2.

I think we got Commander Fox's death in the vader comics, but I agree, would definitely be fire to see in animation, as well as the others!
Echo gets some story line! I’m so excited for his story along with the other clones we’ve never got any more details on.
Wouldn't that be cool if we witnessed Echo's final moments in Andor?
Some characters and clones will be different paths in new clone rebellion series, even Cody, Rex and Wolffe, here i prediction where character is.
Rex, Echo, Ahsoka tano, Bail, Riyo Chunci, Tarkin, Darth Vader, Howzer and other 501st clones who deserter like Boomer in Rex and Echo series.
Cody, Crys, Boil, Wooley, Numa, Mon Mothma, Lieutenant Maylur, Hondo and Obi-wan kenobi in Cody/212th squad series.
And Captain Sinker (possible protagonist), Commander Wolffe, Sergeant Boost, Warhog, and unknown characters in Wolfpack series, that all characters.
I would love for Cody to get closure with Kenobi
For the love of dogs, Vader doesn't have to be in everything. That's just *lazy* writing. One of the *great* things about TBB was that he wasn't. The Batch doesn't know of him. He's not even mentioned once, and the Batch haven't the faintest about what happened to the Jedi general they fought alongside on Anaxes and Skako Minor (I very much doubt they care, why should they?).
THAT'S *good* writing.
Same with the operative *not* being anyone we knew. Seriously, we expect Filoni and Corbett to be *a bit* more gifted, storytellingwise, than the fanbois are, don't we?
Same with OT events. It's a big galaxy, it was a big war, many battles. Kudos to writers who don't fall prey to the everybody does everything -trope. If we didn't see or hear of XYZ that just meant they were elsewhere.
Same thing with Project Necromancer being very much the Emperor's private little pet Black Ops. None of the top brass like Tarkin is in the loop, Vader doesn't know, *and* the beauty of it, it makes a perfectly good plot even without the crappy sequels.
Not everything is, or needs to be, connected!
I don't want a series to be when they are old. It need to be when they are young and the things that lead up to their future.

I've been writing stories about, rex, wolffe, boba and the 224th mud jumpers.
It costs around 1 mil per episode, if I had the money, I would pay for a pilot episode, just to see the projections of this one off?
I know it makes the canon story/ continuity frustrating but I like what Omega said about “you all fought enough wars.” I think that’s a pretty good explanation why we didn’t see them in the big movies. We saw it ourselves, they were getting worn out and tired, they kept going through dangerous scenarios where the old ways wouldn’t work anymore. Wrecker almost died in the ending, Crosshair lost his hand, and you could bet that Hunter was getting pretty tired too. At that point, he just wanted to keep his family and home safe. They all did their part and kinda past their prime, so it would make sense for them to retire and live somewhere far away from these troubles. Let the young ones take care of the future. That’s what we saw in the finale. Maybe we could see a cameo of them and stuff later but I kinda agree w/ the writers. Anymore fighting and they would end up like Gregor did in “Rebels.”
Plus, I’m happy they were able to walk away from that life. We saw how much they struggled after everything changed, because being a soldier was all they know, but they adapted and decided for themselves when to walk away. That’s amazing, at least to me.

well we know Cody dies on kamino in 2bby when star killer attacks. everything is Star Wars so if they change that I will be pissed. They could have captured Cody and reeducated him. Thats my head canon. Because Cody going a wall pissed me the hell of.
Maybe it is because the Galaxy in Star wars is so bloody huge with millions of planets according to Canon, you're not going to see every character in every series.

This is great but I was kinda of hoping for a live action series where Temuera Morrison comes back to play the clones. I would to see Morrison play Echo, Gregg, Howzer, even Wulff in live action along with the members of Clone Foce 99 too.

The bad batch are clone commandos and technically echo is a commando.
Technically echo is still an Arc Trooper, his armor is different and his skill surpass commandos

I actually don’t think it’s that problematic that many of these characters aren’t in the battles we’ve seen. Conflicts are broad and many people will fight in many places - it’s reasonable to believe that the characters were elsewhere or doing supporting activities or battles rather than acting as the main effort. More clones please.

I'd rather have a TGCW (The Galactic Civil War) TCW style show focusing on Luke, Leia and Han and their adventures adapting storylines like Aftermath, Rise of the Jedi while combining the order that luke was trying to set up in the Sequels.

A clone rebellion show would make sense, it would show what happens to the clones because by the time of rebels clones were really rare whereas clones were used by the empire esrly on so a show showing what happened to all of those clones would connect the prequels to the sequels.
