Tulane started their last game 10/12 from 3, if they can keep doing that and improve on defense they could definitely shock the country. As for State, we have the potential but Josh Hubbard needs to get himself together if we want to be great.
Iowa State losing before the 2nd weekend would be the least surprising thing. A regular season team that's always overhyped and typically ends up folding in the tournament. Let's not forget they lost to UAB in 2015 (albeit by 1 point but still) when they were a 3 seed. This is probably the best Iowa State team we've seen thus far but if there's any #1 seed that loses in the 2nd round it's probably them. If Gonzaga ends up being an 8 seed in the West and ISU ends up being the 1 seed there, I'm taking Gonzaga (even with the losses to Oregon State and Santa Clara). It'll obviously depend on who they play, but Gonzaga is an example of a team that could potentially beat ISU in the 2nd round due to the potential that team has with Mark Few as the head coach. They blew Baylor out, took care of San Diego State, and kept it close with Kentucky, UCLA, and UConn in Madison Square Garden (their weakness is that they don't have a true big man like UConn does). UConn is an iffy team now as well as Kentucky to some degree since they got blown out by OSU by 20, but UCLA ever since they beat Gonzaga has been on a midseason slide but I personally think that teams like Maryland and Michigan who UCLA lost to are solid teams for the most part. In fact I like Maryland as a dark horse Elite Eight team after they throttled Illinois by 21 on their own court. Also west coast teams now having to travel all the way across country and vice versa for the Big 10 and ACC definitely has some impact into how the teams perform due to being so jet lagged.
@@iowastatefan1920 A hot take but a possibility nevertheless. You know when it comes to March Madness they are the equivalent to the Baltimore Ravens with Lamar Jackson at QB in the post season. Great during the regular season, even in the conference tournament, but when the chips are down they always fold when it matters, regardless of the hand they have. Only a single Final Four appearance in 1944 and two Elite Eight appearances. They may very well get out of the first weekend but they sure as hell won't make it past the second and you can count on that. I'll never trust Iowa State again during March Madness and I'll never forgive them for busting my 2015 bracket. I was high on that team and had them going to the Final Four that year and they let me down in a major way. Never again, no matter how good they are. Didn't trust them last year, won't trust them this year or ever again. The deepest that I'll have them going in any March Madness tournament is the Sweet 16, no further. Yes, that's how salty I am about that 2015 bracket, even if it was 10 years ago. I still remember and will never forget that 60-59 loss to UAB lol
I have utah beating Duke, one of the reasons, Duke looks tired, that and Utah doesn't care if you shoot the 3 ball. Houston knocks off Aubern., Iowa st vs Alabama
It could happen. Aubern faces off against Alabama right at the end. If Aubern beats Alabama. They might lose to southern in the first round. Broken bracket
21:56 every single year with altman, oregon looks significantly better in march. the way they are playing right now i can see it, but they will get better
UConn will obviously be eliminated in the first weekend, besides last year every defending champion loses in the first weekend in recent history, and this UConn team is nowhere close to last years
I think Dan Hurley might be the new Tom Izzo, I'm pretty sure they've won every March Madness game by 10+ the last 2 years. I don't think that they're going to do that this year but I think they get to the second round and lose there. Depends on who they play though, also depends on if/when that McNeeley kid comes back.
A lot of these last few sleeper teams were led by coach with experience under other legendary coach. Last year that was Kevin Keatts who had experience under Rick Pitino in 2013 championship. This year I see why Wisconsin could make final four with Greg Guard could having made two sweet 16’s and formerly coached under Bo Ryan in the championship in 2015, so it’s like a 10 year anniversary run and they’re a bounce back team.
Hot take UConn makes another run as final four run 7 seed after everyone doubting them. Diarra takes that surprise final four MOP next step. There defense efficiency improves from 100 to top 20 in the tournament. They play Kentucky in the championship again and win! Dan Hurley vs Mark Pope
Big dawg they could easily make it and I’d be very surprised if they got best in the first round but if UK doesn’t tune around their defense a final 4 is unlikely. Sub 80 defenses rarely make a final 4
auburn dominates the 1st round to the the sweet 16 then wins by 8+ in the elite eight and takes the chip all while msu gets to the elite eight and maybe further
Thank you for including my take, I really do appreciate it. I’m sorry if the length of it caused any issues.
Tulane 😵💫
Good luck Miss State tho

No issue at all appreciate the take!
Tbh, I can see Tulane winning that. Idk who wins the American, but willing to put money that it ain’t gonna be Memphis
Danny always delivers

Didn't post a hot take in time, but mine would be St. John's makes it to the elite 8

GO FREAKING CATS!!! BBN4Life… absolutely crazy if you think UK will lose first round under Pope, you smokin nuts!
I really do think UC Irvine could make things Interesting
Yale makes a deep run to elite 8
I was looking at Marist. This team looks good. No not bad but seriously good. This is just interesting This team might upset uh oh.
Love the shirt. Go friars
Hot takes is an opinion.
Wisconsin to second weekend
The final 4 hinges upon Auburn, winning against Alabama

Lets not forget that 2015 was 10 years ago, 2 coaches ago
Gonzaga over iowa st is a hot take

Iam knocking out duke second round to, utah. They look tired. Mississippi st, beats Aubern, sweet 16
Here my take Michigan State vs. auburn natty or final four
Bradley and Drake make the tournament and both get a win
My take Utah knocks off Duke, Duke looks tired
Those 4 thumbnail teams my final 4 predictions except Florida instead of UConn
Baylor. Gonzaga, Illinois, Arizona?
Danny bub your scale you use to grade on these makes no sense 😂 great vid tho
Stop hating on Danny BUB. He’s doing a wonderful job !
I could use a better scale I’m open to suggestions, I just kind of pick a number of how likely I think it is to happen 🤣
Kansas will lose first round big 12 tournament but will be in big tournament
Can you do my hot take next
Mine top 4 houston duke auburn Florida
alabama could be a sleeper final four
Right now Alabama is 27 in mine
My Hot Take - Tennessee loses in the First Round and parts ways with Rick Barnes
My hot take: UNC misses the tournament again
I have utah beating Duke, one of the reasons, Duke looks tired, that and Utah doesn't care if you shoot the 3 ball. Houston knocks off Aubern., Iowa st vs Alabama
Kentucky definitely dropping first round tournament game as usual😂😂😂
It could happen. Aubern faces off against Alabama right at the end. If Aubern beats Alabama. They might lose to southern in the first round. Broken bracket
Creighton final four…this time it will be true😢
Thank you for my take! Love the content keep doing what your doing.
21:56 every single year with altman, oregon looks significantly better in march. the way they are playing right now i can see it, but they will get better
Duke won’t make it past the sweet sixteen, not enough experience
UConn will obviously be eliminated in the first weekend, besides last year every defending champion loses in the first weekend in recent history, and this UConn team is nowhere close to last years
I think UConn going lose 1st round
I think Dan Hurley might be the new Tom Izzo, I'm pretty sure they've won every March Madness game by 10+ the last 2 years. Hope ur right
OMG I MADE IT INTO MY FAV RUclipsRS VIDEO 😭🔥 WVU ALL THE WAY!
Kentucky has experience they absolutely won't exit 1st round generally it's younger teams
I am suprised nobody said anything about Missouri!
Wwws
Mizzou gets into the tournament and goes on a tear
Grand Canyon, utep and Princeton are Cinderella teams
Hot take UConn makes another run as final four run 7 seed after everyone doubting them. Diarra takes that surprise final four MOP next step. There defense efficiency improves from 100 to top 20 in the tournament. They play Kentucky in the championship again and win! Dan Hurley vs Mark Pope
Purdue is going to surprise everyone
I think duke and auburn make final four run
Right now houston vs duke championship game
The top Defenses ✊
Anyone that thinks UK gonna loose in the first round is just stupid UK is final 4 team
Big dawg they could easily make it and I’d be very surprised if they got best in the first round but if UK doesn’t tune around their defense a final 4 is unlikely. Sub 80 defenses rarely make a final 4
Could lose look at Mark Pope in March with BYU 😟
@@bearbezold3502just stop.

hard to say if they will get to championship
Best team right now is st mary
Alabama and Auburn will play 4 times this season
maybe and that would be huge for the state of alabama
