I appreciate the breakdown of the Law and how to apply it. However, it is not beneficial to students new to the application of the concept if you say "you could then solve this" without providing the answer. That is part of the reason why people are coming to Khan Academy. So they can receive instruction that is better than their teachers at school. However, I feel this teaching style is exactly the same as at school. The only benefit is that you can pause and rewind.
I just wish I could pause, solve it myself, and then play the video to verify my answer. Instead, I pause, solve, and the question is changed and my answer is no longer valid. Doesn't help practicing the basics if I don't know if my answer is right...
Not that I don't appreciate the help in understanding the topic. I love these videos. Please keep them coming! Just a little frustrating to have little to no practice of concepts. Just lecture on theory.

Physics practice is on Khan Academy now! High School Physics old and High School Physics NGSS have practice. I like the NGSS practice with the old videos - powerful combination for mastering the core ideas.

We can use our knowledge of 30-60-90 triangles for the horizontal F_7 vector.
Please the same way you put the vertical acceleration and horizontal acceleration into PYTHAGORAS to find the total acceleration can't you do the same with the forces

Oh never mind, we don't know if the value is positive or negative. My bad.
Actually you can. You would just create a new axis and you can make the positive and negative conventions whatever you like em to be. But this axis will be separate from the vertical and horizontal axis . In the end, you'll have 3 acceleration vectors so you will add them all up to get the net acceleration. But it's generally easier to break down all the "sloped" lines to their vertical and horizontal components so we would only add two acceleration vectors.

you made it very hard to me there is a different way to solve this problem not only in this way:( you were using a lot of numbers in this example and that is wrong because how can I release what is the forces if I just see this law for the first time in my hole life :(
It's good that you're trying to explain that in real life vectors act on an object from different directions, rather than horizontally etc. However, because you keep adding vector after vector without solving each example, the end answer is wrong. For instance, acceleration from +25 - 40 +50 -30 should be 5, not 10 however because it was not solved in the first place, 10 got plugged in another example which makes that answer wrong. So overall this video provides clear explanations of how to calculate the acceleration when vectors act on an object from different directions, but because vectors keep getting added to explain this concept, the page becomes messy and the end answer isn't right.
