Another fantastic video, Jim. Love Alaska, although I haven't done the Juneau area and its Icefield yet. It is sad to see most glaciers worldwide melting rapidly due to our current warming conditions forcing feedback loop which unfortunately does excacerbate the melting exponantially. Love the helicopter flyover. Very surreal! Have a great weekend.
We learned about the receding rate of glaciers on our trip to the Norwegian Fjords last year, it really is shocking. How fantastic that you not only saw the glacier from the helicopter but also had the privilege of walking on it. It is surreal thinking how old the compact ice below you is.
