Robin, your voice, maturity and perspective are a breath of fresh air here amongst the RV vloggers. We FT for a year with our kids many years ago. Now we are prepping for retirement and revisiting/considering RV FT. Sold our class A years ago. Our considerations include what type of RV (leaning towards 5th wheel). At this stage in our lives, we see the glass half full before anything else comes into focus. That being true, your voice is contributing to our evaluations. So glad my wife and I found your channel. Carry on.
There are many RV you tube videos. What is unique about yours is the specific details and your Flow and Go attitude that is so Refreshing. Creative folks see the little things that illuminate the Moment.
Such a great attitude. You're right, they're just trying to do their job. Most people don't think about what other people might be going through. Former EMS worker.
I agree they are just doing their job...... and it's really a small inconvenience in light of the fact that luckily all you had to do was move but not be the one being airlifted.....its good you are safe!....cheers!
I was thinking the same thing. I hate seeing those helicopters bc I know someone has been seriously injured I say a prayer for them. And yes some people are more then a little ignorant of anyone else, but thankfully your not like that! And what a gorgeous place! Man, I just love the west and wish I could hit the road
I agree. My daughter texted me one day on her way to work and said the freeway is at a complete halt and she's an hour late for work because an RV was in full blaze. Situations like that people just gotta pause and witness and learn and be glad nobody was hurt.
what a beautiful spot you've uncovered. Thank you. Your 3 knocks story is hilarious, though we wish the accident folks the best. Thanks again for sharing.
Wow! I hope the person whom needed the helicopter has recovered swiftly. I'm with ya...it is good to know those first responders are out there when they are needed.
Pretty entertaining. Intelligent, articulate narrator and it's enjoyable listening to her. I'd like to get on the road with a minivan and am searching all the videos for info! Thanks, Creativity RV!!
I'm so glad to finally hear someone understand when police or park rangers come knocking...all I have heard and seen before this, is people complaining about it...I just don't understand why anyone would complain...they are just doing their job...Great attitude, Robin!! That is such a pretty place where you camped last night...I don't blame you leaving because of the wind...just be careful driving in it too...Blessings, hugs and love, Robin. 😊🙏💖
That's strange to say. If someone's job is to harass people who've done nothing immoral (no victim) then yeah of course people will be frustrated. I don't think it's pragmatic to take frustrations out on rangers, but what they do when they bother people just camping in a way that doesn't hurt the environment, that's not okay.
I was camping in my van in San Diego and one night a chopper showed up because they got a call that something was in the brush.it was actually my wetsuit! Thanks
Awesome! You camped at Cottonwood. I mountain biked those trails for years with my trusty dog in tow. It’s so peaceful there and when it’s in bloom, one of the prettiest things you can see.
I was totally one of those scooter folks at the Red Rock Canyons last summer. Best day ever. Way better than being on the Las Vegas strip. Thank you for sharing.
Red Rock Canyon is a wonderful place to visit! (We were in a car so we were there for only a day.) Every curve you go around has a different view. Loved the different views on the different trails. Take water with you if you plan to be there for a day. We only took a bottle each but water was sold at the interesting visitor’s center.
I don't know how I found this channel, but this is the first video of yours that I'm seeing. Your video's clarity, your commentary and your editing are superb. This channel is a jewel of a find! I'm now subscribed and I hope you have fun and safe travels. If you ever pass through Dallas, let me know.
Beautiful view at the end ... I'll add that area to my "must see" list! Just stayed overnight free at Buffalo Gap near Wall, SD. Breathtakingly beautiful under the full moon! God Bless
Yikes! I know what you mean about the wind! We camped through a storm on Whidby Island (Washington) right next to the water. The wind felt like it would blow our rig right over (and it's 35 feet long.) I finally called the ranger to ask if they had ever had winds strong enough to roll an RV over, and she said they had not. We were there 3 days, and on 2 of those days the winds were so strong that the ferry could not cross the water. We fared all right, but I didn't sleep all that well.
Years ago I was parked, sleeping in my semi at a rest area when I got a loud knock....they needed me to move my truck so they could land a medical helicopter for a patient transfer from ambulance to chopper. It gets your adrenaline going!
Well technically if you don't own a house, you're not paying residential or property taxes. It's the people who live in the towns who pay the taxes that fix the roads, clean the roads, build bridges, pick up trash, etc. That's why it's important to be respectful when traveling. I try to leave an area that I'm visiting clean and try to avoid disturbing the peace, if I can help it.
You have inspired me. I am so sick of all my shit. Sometimes I wonder why I have it. Wow
It is beautiful thank you very much
It was worth it so
We can see and enjoy it in your Chanel
Knock three times on the door if you want me... to move.
