    The headers and pipe/baffle are Mac 4-1. With the comp baffle. This video is old. Now I run a cycleX 12" shorty open pipe with the Mac header.

      I hear that man but i've been looking to find me a cb550 in NY which i live at and im still looking on the forums on how to do the swing arm conversion let alone wanna shorten the rear tail similar to yours except mine is a Dunstall style rear tail

      Kevin morimoto
      good luck man... the used to be a dime a dozen up here... people couldn't give then away... now, you can't find them.. and when you do.. everyone wants an arm and leg for a crappy rusted up maybe running one... its getting harder to get deals for them. having to drive 2-3hrs minimum out side my city to find the better priced bikes.

      well i found a few for 1500-2000 so that's really not that bad as well i can just strip everything i need to do , only thing that will make or break me is doing the frame the right way and want to shorten as i stated similar to yours. other than that , keep up the good work

    If you dont mind me askin, what rims are you using for both the front and rear tires? Is the chain guard clearance still ok or you modified it to fit the rear tire?

  • @dutenn
    @dutenn 7 лет назад +1

    Looks like you have nice size wheel and tire on the back, what size is it? Been wondering how wide I can go.

    What type of rear wheel are you using it looks like a low profile CBR rim between cut down with a milling machine on the sides can you tell me more about the swing arm and your rear wheel you're using the rim is different from mine mine

    • @RustyOlive
      @RustyOlive  3 месяца назад

      Custom drilled and dimpled Spin Werkes 18x5.50 rim. Over sized stainless spokes and nips to laced offset, up to the stock cb550 rear hub.
      Milled offset sprocket carrier and offset drive sprockets to gain the chain clearance around the 180/55/18 tire.
      I fabricated my own swing arm

      Cool houses look the same.. Nice bike. Any good shops in Toronto for bobber/café racers? Looking for old school hot rod bobber look. Or a 550 café.. Cheers see you around

      +COPO JOHN thanks. She's down and out right now. Motor exploded last summer. Olivia 2.1 is in the works for next season. Bigger, better, faster. Lol
      I wouldn't recommend many shops for custom work around here unless you have a lot of $$ .. Get to know local fabricators like Back Alley Motorcycles or I. Lol
