Klay is still at his peak regardless of what media nerds and casual fans say. Sure he took bad shots in the playoffs so he didn’t play how he wanted but he is still one of the most dangerous guys in the league. The role players need to learn how to get Klay going and doing things like setting those little screens In transition to get him free for clean looks. I’d love to see Klay get in the post more this year too. Klay can play iso he has proven it on the biggest stage many times but at his best he is causing havoc without the ball. He is still an elite defender too. I rewatched the finals vs Celtics and Klay was incredibly clutch and elite on defense against guys that most would consider superior to him in Tatum and Brown. The key is Kerr playing kuminga every game 20 min plus and letting him play through mistakes. And the other key is shot selection, all of the warriors took bad shots all year last year including playoffs, I watched every game some of them twice and the number one thing by far was shot selection. Bad shots are contagious. Klay should touch the ball every possession or at the very least every other.

Its hard for people to forget that before the new years klay was averaging around 15 points, and afterwards he popped off, meaning that since he had a lot of offseason training done already, he is most likely going to have the best year offensively of his career, with the addition of good passers like cp3 and dario saric. I would say he can average easily 24-26 points the next season while shooting around 42 percent from three. Although he is not the same defender he once was, he is still an amazing post defender, people say he has slowed down, however he was never fast, having the great footwork he still has on defense.
hopefully dysons coaches give him the keys a little more to facilitate, looks to be a sponge just needs the confidence/backing it'll continue to improve. in saying that it's a mental thing from here if he continues to put in the work. goodluck to all the players fun watch as always. :)
