A long time ago I did live in California but now I live in Missouri and the weather down here in Missouri. You got tornadoes, floods. Thunder and lightning storms that are very large and very in charge down here. And then you got the snow during the winter. I hate all of except During the summer, it's really nice down here. I live in California I know about the earthquakes probably around 25 years ago was the funniest one because I felt it so I called my husband's work and said did you feel that what are you talking about he said I said the earthquake everybody in his shop said no they didn't feel it and the shop was like 3 miles away so I started asking other people if they felt it or we just me they said yep ..so I know for sure...there was an earthquake lol 😂😂😂

For a person like me living to a place where you experience both earthquake, and super typhoon ( equivalent to hurricane but much powerful) along other natural disaster on the list. You could sleep without a problem unless it is direct hit and you didn't prepare enough ahead. Goodluck cleaning later

Every now and then you get one that is a little stronger, but the ones most people outside california think of when they hear "Earthquake"? Those are rare to occur more than once every couple decades. I think in almost 40 years I have experienced 3-4 earthquakes that were not just 1 quick shake like a small car crashed NEAR our house. The second biggest earthquake in 150 years? The one in 1989? 63 fatalities. And people say they would rather live in a place that gets multiple serious tornadoes per year? There are an average of 71 tornado fatalities EACH YEAR.
I think that it definitely would be funny if you are drunk and you are pulled over by a cop and while you are taking the test at the same time of a earthquake hit at the same time?
I will gladly take an earthquake as I live in East Texas so we got nailed by a lot of different things, as Texas is a state where you get just about every natural disaster possible with the exception of things like a volcanic eruption and tsunami (which chances are very low).
