He's the kind of player you hate as an opponent, but wish he was in your team. because he brings so much, his leadership, his never say die attitude, a winning mentality etc. also I think he does those slide tackles because they are frustrating to opponents. most players get frustrated too easily and then are easily taken out the game mentally. And as a defender, you must stamp your authority on the pitch. A sliding tackle, a hard one gives you that opportunity

He’s very physical player but you’ll barely see him serious injured. He mostly got injuries on his head & nose. But i don’t remember what was the last occasion when S.Ramos missed a game due to an injury. He’s solid as a rock.
