I think part of it is that being a Manchester United player is not a "part time job". Rashford's charity work is admirable and all but then again isn't that the sort of stuff you might want to focus on after your "professional football carrier".

I noticed a lot of internet-talkers (never know if they are people or bots) don't realise players are humans and actual people and that football is their job and they have a right and also a need for days off, lest their bodies fall apart from exhaustion and lack of rest. Also, jet-lag is different for different people.
Not when they take the Mick on £15mill a year and lack even basic effort.
These guys are acting like players like Ronaldinho weren’t drinking, partying and having fun till the early hours of the morning. But when he turned up on the weekend, nobody cared. The only reason they have the courage to badmouth Rashford is because he isn’t playing well.

The way football has evovled, the number of games, the social media, the hounding of pundits, EVERYTHING, is burning out players left right and center. The last thing I want is one of our players, to get shit on for taking some time off and unwinding the way HE wants to unwind.

You have to understand Gary Neville played in a very successful Man Utd team. They had to sacrifice everything to reach the level they did. Look at David Beckham he got a lot of stick when he started dating Victoria from the spice girls because he would go on long journeys just to see her the players and manager would pull him up about it. This was a time when Utd was at the top so for Utd players going away during a time when the club is doing so bad it doesn't make sense to Gary Neville because they wouldn't have done that even when they were doing well

Agree and disagree. Players personal lives are personal, and they don't owe anything to ANYBODY but their employer. But we've been watching Marcus Rashford since 2016, and I can confidently say that he has not gotten any better as a player. He's talented, but when a guy that talented doesn't progress it's understandable to look for reasons as to why he hasn't developed into the superstar most United fans thought he was going to be.
