Real, tho. I was just laughing maniacally when I found the stray variant because I was so beefed up, and summoned my own mimic tear too. The room just exploded with fire and omen spirits everywhere, and I loved it.

Problem is, the AI cannot copy Botan's insane reflexes and skill. Of course her mimic will be shit.
Machines can only wish to compute as fast as Botan’s quantum-gaming brain.
Botan's being a dancer in the battlefield couldn't easily replicate from a measly AI of this current Era.
And to think, she got punished a few times for not letting her stamina regen!
so if you powerstancing, the mimic will be aggresive AF. if you have the glintstone spells it'll spam it happily. but it's not really aggresive when you just have a single weapon for some reason.
Yes, I summon my own mimic (+10) on this fight on NG+2 and watch them fighting, I power stance katana and my mimic got wrecked lol

I was running a Strength+Dragon Spell build. If the mimic had gone off one, just ONE, rot breath attack that would be instant death. But the jumping heavy attack ate through it like nithing

Funny thing about that fight is, if you go in unarmed, wait for it to spawn, then equip a weapon, it will just pathetically punch you. It's honestly sad how one-sided the fight becomes then. You should unequip your flask too, so it can't heal. You won't need it with how little damage it does.

I always watch noel stream,but seems like she didnt find the mimic boss in the area map

@@oneminutevtuber Lamy has fought it now. She accidentally cheesed it by going in with a sword with Carian Grandeur on it, so the mimic kept trying to charge the attack only to get slapped by Lamy and knocked out of it.
Noel beat it about a month ago. She fought it with her trusty Great Mace + Great Stars combo. She had Bloodhound's Step on so the Mimic kept using it while she didn't really know how to use it so she just kept smacking it till it died.
Of course Pekora has the Godskin set on, why would I expect anything different from her

Wait, didn't Pekora already fight this boss? I am sure I saw another Pekora clip of her fighting the Mimic Tear but she was using a giant hammer.
Did this in ng+. Was like fighting Maliketh once more because he had the black blade equipped and maliketh armor on just like me😭🙏

I had a fun transient moonlight duel with my mimic tear boss ended with a quick step into a L2+R1 slide behind him as he fell gave him a bow and left then almost died because I forgot to heal after the duel lol
Lol I fought this boss a quite times and wondering why those on youtube healing all the times and mine never do that, not a single time. Turn out because I put those flasks in pouch and not quick slots
Not surprised that Botan used pre-patch RoB; I just wish the mimic used it on her.

Yeah, Botan's tactic is the best - hit the enemy as soon and fast as possible. Don't wait, don't stare at him, don't waste your time and opportunities.
