    I have checked almost every single video on RUclips and they have hundreds of Thanks for Saving Their Lives but my life wasn't one of them UNTIL I passed by this video of yours which has made a miracle to me and my small family this winter. The problem was that my boiler had a constant F1 error code showing and no warm water whatsoever. I have tried several tips of adjusting the valves but it didn't work jack. The pressure clock never moves. Imagine that even a technician visited me from IDEAL Corp but he declined telling me he isn't responsible if the water gushes out, and I had to let him go. I knew there's something the plumber RUclipsrs didn't want us to know because the issue seems a little screw-driving away, so I followed your advice starting by switching off the boiler, turning that little metal square driver notch one tick clockwise and voila; the pressure is building up and the clock hand is raising up to my satisfaction, turning it back to original state and switching on the boiler again ! Wow ! No more problem at all! Thanks from the bottom of my heart, our hero !

    Watched all 3 of these and this one was the closest to ours. The main difference was that our hose is permanently connected and instead of valves at each end, there is a faucet. It was very stiff, but after wrapping a towel around the handle and turning it, I heard water flowing and the pressure gauge started going up. We now have pressure again. Thanks for this video and hope this comment helps someone! Maybe make a video for those of us with faucets?

    Our Wooster Bosch combi boiler has a key to refill. Do you have to push the key UP hard in the unlocked position before locking, as water escapes out of the key. The heating is not very good downstairs(I think I touched the radiators, I don't mean heat rising) even with the radiators on full. I do believe that the main reason is pressure as it is only just on one bar(went down after bleeding radiators) but it is a small 3 bed semi. Otherwise the radiators want balancing I guess. Probably best to wait for the boiler man in may.

      @WorcesterBoschHeating  7 лет назад

      Thank you for your comment.
      1. Push the filling key firmly into the body of the filling link, ensuring the arrow on the key shaft lines up with the open padlock symbol.
      2. Turn the filling key to the right, to the stop, so the arrow now lines up with the closed padlock symbol. This bridges the gap between the two sections of the filling loop.
      3. Turn the white knob to the left, this will allow water to fill the system.
      4. When the pressure, shown on the boiler fascia pressure gauge, reaches between the 1 and 1.5 bar marks (zone A), turn the white knob to the right to close the valve. Do not over tighten.
      5. Turn the filling key to the left, to the stop, so that the arrow lines up with the open padlock symbol and pull the key straight down to remove. Please remember to store the key in the bottom panel.
      Sometimes it is difficult getting the key into position, it can help by applying some washing up liquid on the key as this can make it easier. If you need any further information please contact our Technical Support team by phoning 0330 123 3366 or by emailing them at technical-advice@uk.bosch.com, many thanks. Worcester

    This was helpful, but my installer has left the hose permanently attached with some black handles in place where in the video you used a screwdriver. Do you *have* to detach the hose after repressurising or can I leave it as it is?

    • @WorcesterBoschHeating
      @WorcesterBoschHeating  5 лет назад

      Good morning Kimberly, It should be fine being left as it is. The main reason we advise to disconnect after topping up the pressure is so if one of the valves was to open the boiler pressure wouldn't start to rise without your knowledge. If you are going to leave it connected I would 100% make sure both valves are firmly closed 👍😊 - Aiden
