Ellee-Chan looks and reminds me of Memole (Wee Wendy in the English dub). For those who don’t know who Memole is, it’s an old 80s Shoujo Anime made by Toei. I’m guessing Toei was making a Memole reboot, but wanted to do the reboot in Precure. Memole was brought to the US in the late 80s through Celebrity’s Just for Kids video on VHS for the cheap bargain bin/kiddie video rental market during that era. Memole was huge in Italy in the 80s (she’s known as Dolce Memole in Italy) and continues to have a huge fan base in Italy. Memole was also shown in France, Spain and the Arab countries during the 80s too.
Can't believe she and Hug-tan/Hagumi double as both Pretty Cures AND mascots.
