    You are being very hard on yourself here. My impression is that you're an intelligent, thoughtful and well spoken person. I'm sure there are girls out there who would love to have you in their life. Your biggest problem is your lack of self esteem. You're putting yourself down and creating problems in your mind that aren't always there. At least not to the extent you think.
    You talk about starting to work out to gain some muscle. I actually think one of the easiest steps to improve your situation is to start working out. Find a 3 times per week full body strength program, and join a gym. You'll start noticing small improvements within a couple of months, and feel better physically and your confidence will improve ( I am speaking from experience). Another big plus is it will get you out of the house, and around people on a regular basis. This in itself isn't going so solve all your problems, but it is a first step, and problems are best solved one step at a time.

      Thank you. I know I shouldn't bring myself down so much, but there's areas I do need to improve in.
      I've always wanted to have an exercise regimen to improve my overall health and especially physique, but like I said in the video I'll need to be taking in twice as many calories to build muscle, and that can be difficult. I still need to figure out a diet plan to easily stay consistent with. Once the pandemic clears up, going to a public gym is definitely a great first step to be around people more.

      spectralrift Actually, you only need a small calorie surplus to gain muscle. As a beginner, even eating at maintenance your body composition will change (to a point), and your posture will improve. My advice is to not be too ambitious about this. Good luck when/if you do decide to start going to a gym.💪
